1 out of 5 eggsTwo for Two

Pros: Price & features

Cons: Didn't read enough reviews on the Biostar I guess. My experience seems common for this board. I always bought Asus boards (11 times so far) and never had a single problem. I'm a long time Newegg customer and bought this mbd because of the price, the features and because I like Newegg.
Well, it looks like quality assurance isn't a part of the build process at Biostar. I've received two defective MBDs; first one was just DOA and the second was fine for 25 minutes but it belched a puff of smoke and went DOA before I could even finish loading the o/s.

***If all that wasn't bad enough, it cost me $12.17 each, plus 4-5 days shipping each time... just to return two defective boards. These two defective boards have cost me $24 plus nearly two weeks of waiting and I still don't have a working motherboard!***
Buying this inexpensive Biostar was for me, like a mouse peeing in a cash register; pretty soon it starts to run into money.

Other Thoughts: I've been doing the Newegg thing since about 2000 and had great service always. Newegg was very responsive (as always) and approved my RMAs and the refund quickly. Still, the shipping time and the expense made this a really tedious experience.
I'd think a small discount on your next Newegg purchase would be both nice and appropriate for folks who had this kind of purchase experience. (Hint, hint... I just ordered a new $170.00 Asus mbd from Newegg.)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat eComStation board

Pros: 100% solid capacitors. Lots of PCIe slots. ATX form factor with great layout. Multi Core support. Perfectly stable with Windows, Linux or eComStation.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I am using this board for a eComStation File Server. Works fully with eComStation 2.1 including USB, SATA, network, and sound. So far, this is the best eComStation board I have installed. Tested with CentOS, openSuse, and Slackware and all are perfectly stable / fully functional.

5 out of 5 eggsFeature rich and reliable!

Pros: 140w TDP, USB 3, SATA 3, Good layout, Fully adjustable BIOS with unlocker. The fourth Biostar board I've owned... second Tseries. I've upgraded my entire computer around this motherboard and its still a tank. I've also ran a mild FSB/muti OC since purchase and never so much as a hicup. Tons of motherboard for the $.

Cons: Does not make me better at Star Craft 2 :[

Other Thoughts: Phenom II 970, 8 Gigs of kingston hyperX 1600
Kigston SSD, MSI 6950 twinfrozr II, etc.

1 out of 5 eggsDead on arrival, VGA error

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing, compact, and price.

Cons: VGA error. First thought that it was my card (it was old) so tried an ancient PCI card and another, known-to-be-working PCI-E card, and both came back with VGA error.

Other Thoughts: Going to get a refund and go for another brand. Never owned Biostar before, and I'm rather disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsFollow-up for my first review

Pros: Hi, I installed this board in a Raidmax Skyline case and it was like a heaven match for these two. Temperature I measured with fully loaded game playing at high settings (Battle field 3, Diablo II) was never passed 55 degree Celsius, me and my friends owed several Raidmax cases and they 're all very good built , if you want your components to stay cool and lasts GO for Raidmax cases ; you won't feel regretting at all guarantee !!!

Cons: Match this board with Raidmax cases they 're extremely reliable and the color will look very nice through the side window , wifey won't complain for sure. Plus Raidmax RMA&customer service are very polite and professional. I like their non-hassles warranty, no questions asked you e-mail them the receipt and they sent you the replacement parts almost instantly. Also I praised Newegg shipping and packing, extreme handle and above expectation.

Other Thoughts: See my first review.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you, we appreciate your kind review.

5 out of 5 eggsFired right up!

Pros: Having owned several Biostars in the past, I was at first reluctant due to their product support in the past. When I saw their website now and how much better it is and constantly up to date it is for their products, I went with this for a friend's build. Very pleased! Good features, good quality, good price. Keep up the good work, Biostar!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mobo at reasonable cost

Pros: Easy overclock, lots of features sata 6 Gb/s, USB 3.0, very good for Gaming.

Cons: User friendly, reasonable price with rebates, nice box color and runs cool like a refrigerator so no need to jack up your electric bill !

Other Thoughts: I bought this on sale while ago plus rebates didn't come up pass $80 bones. Unlocked my AMD Phenom black edition into quad core(bought here at Newegg too) with one touch of F4 no sweat, I overclocked it at 3.8 GHz with temperature at full load (played Crysis II and DIABLO games on) never passed 55C; idling at 24C (dun no why some complaints about the board 'temperature)I meant I really pushed this board to its limit and it's not failed me in the last 6mths or so. Came to me in a nice package I liked it even my mom couldn't stop staring at the box; I think I'll buy an other one and build a nice system for Mama at Mother's day.
Here is my rigs in case you're curious:
Biostar TA870U3+ , AMD Phenom quad core Overclock at 3.8 GHz;G-skill Ripjaws X series 2x4GBOC at 1600 MHz ; GPU Sapphire AMD Radeon 6870 GDDR5; 120GB OCZ vertexIII SSD runs as caching; 2 xWD 320GB at Raid1; Raidmax Skyline case with 500W Antec high current gamers series PWS; TP Link wireless N+ adapter;
