2 out of 5 eggsDon't count on getting a rebate

Pros: This is a supplement to a previous review, where I rated the board 5 eggs. And while I'd keep that review for the product itself, I'd have to rate Biostar as a company much lower for their rebate processing. It has been more than seven months since I submitted my rebate request, and I've heard nothing from them.

Cons: Don't buy this board, or any Biostar board for that matter, expecting to get a rebate. Because if your experience is anything like mine, you won't get it.

1 out of 5 eggsCan I call this a title?

Pros: Fast BIOS post when it wants to.

Cons: Motherboard errors out 90% of the time. Booting off a USB drive to install Windows blue screens or locks up before it starts.

The motherboard will sometime show glitches (little blue lines in the screen) at the POST screen. From there it's locked up. Sometimes it'll show the big logo and nothing else. Locked up. Changing settings and browsing though the BIOS will eventually cause a lock up.

No BIOS updates available, and even if there was you have to install it through Windows as there isn't an option to update it through the BIOS itself like the majority of every other board on the market.

Other Thoughts: Never had bought a Biostar just because, Biostar. Always have had a bad reputation in my mind and from reviews for being cheap and always having 15x more likely chance of being bad than other manufactures. This just solidifies my view on Biostar and will never recommend them. Never have, never will.

Now I'll end up being about $10 out for shipping and receiving a new board to cross my fingers and hope it'll be good and last.

Got this board as a combo with an AMD A4-3400. Would have loved to have seen how this processor works, but alas, board doesn't even allow me to install Windows.

Cons: had to dock an egg because this motherboard pci-e slot does not line up on my case. could be the case's fault though

4 out of 5 eggsCheap but Effective

Pros: This Mobo is cheap, if you couldn't tell by the price tag. However, it does have all the attractive options most normal computer users need. I put this in my parent's computer with a quad-core AMD and 8GB RAM. They have had no issues to date.

Cons: I haven't really found any. The board certainly shows its price, but I put it in a closed case. I have had no issues otherwise, but I will update if this changes.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little board

Pros: Nice manual, nice quick start guide.

Board is clearly labelled and connectors are in logically places. Installed like a breeze and works like a charm

Cons: Two more SATA ports would be nice. But can't really complain at this price pont.

2 out of 5 eggsLarger Grahpic Cards Proble

Pros: It runs ok

Cons: Tried to install a larger Graphic card and lost 2 SATA ports. Alignment is off for larger graphics cards. This was a problem for me since I needed the connections available for my swap drive cage. In addition, as another review stated, when the system powers down(Despite modifying the settings in Windows) too often I have to reset to get the screen back.

Other Thoughts: This mother is good for Web surfing, but if you would like to add additions to it,look for another board, very limited for expansions.

4 out of 5 eggsWorking good so far

Pros: Small, cheap, Has usb 3.0 and sata 6 GBPS

Cons: Holes are SLIGHTLY off, not enough to make a difference though. My Sapphire 6870 covers most of the sata ports, so buy curved sata cables if you have a non discreet card

1 out of 5 eggsREBATE NOT RECEIVED YET

Pros: Price

Cons: Rebate submitted in October 2012 and accepted by booster, but I haven't receive payment yet.

Other Thoughts: If the rebate is not payed, the price is deceiving.
I will update my review if I ever get the rebate.
