Pros: Pci /pcie cards have plenty of space between them and it has lots of hookups, 3 4pin sys fan and 2 4pin cpu fan. Easy install, thorough manual. Nice black sata cables.

Cons: Was sent the T series model which has bright yellow ram and gpu slots- yuck.. has an outdated bios chip and won't post at ALL with my x4 860k AND biostar support is useless!

Other Thoughts: I have emailed biostar 6 times this week trying to get an updated chip, so now I have to buy ANOTHER cpu just to update the bios. My first biostar mobo and my last.

Cons: Not The Best For Gaming, But Holds It's Own.Kinda Picky On Memory.Didnt Like Kingston That I had But Works Well With Team Memory.

Pros: 3 4pin system fan headers and 2 4pin cpu fan headers, fan control in the bios for each individual fan.8 sata connectors, pci express 3.0 and usb 3.0 header. I was happy to get the latest version 5.3 with latest bio already installed.

Cons: no cons

Other Thoughts: as far as i can see the athlon 860k is the most powerful chip for the fm2+ boards, on the list of compatible chips on the biostar websight they list a athlon 870k and a 880k, if these are as cheap as the 860k they may be a real bargain.

Pros: Lots of features. Easy to install.

Cons: Error 54. I called Biostar tech support several times but got no answer. Eventually I caught someone at another extension who entered my problem into the system and promised a call back. I'm still waiting for the return call. In the meantime searched for error 54 at Biostar's website but found no results. There was some helpful information on another manufacturer's website that indicated a RAM error. I swapped the RAM from the recommended slots into the vacant slots and it worked.

Other Thoughts: In the past I've had good luck with Biostar support. Not so much this time.

Pros: I went to replace this with an Asus ROG. which failed in a handful of days popped this baby back in and it ran like new. extremely pleased. would recommend

Pros: Works great, lots of sata and pci ports + 4 usb 3.0

Pros: Very nice looking board, has the features I was looking for to replace a Biostar T45 Power motherboard that was killed by a static bomb.
Affordable price.
Every thing fit on the board nicely, no problems.
Plays nicely on Linux Mint 17 Rebecca.

Cons: Can't find any so far.

Other Thoughts: Decided to build myself a new computer and chose this motherboard along with:
1. Motherboard - Biostar Hi-Fi A88W 3D

8. Hard drive WD Black 1T from my old computer directly with all my programs, files etc. Just popped it in, fired the new build up and BINGO everything ran fine, just had to update the video card driver.

I bought this motherboard after countless research and the fact Mike had good luck running Linux on his. And the fact I have had a Biostar board before that never gave me problems until I gave it a static bomb blast. 6 years on that board. Now I had an excuse to build a new PC.

PC temps as I am typing:
ACPITZ 35C
CPU 26C
Video card 27C

Audio sound thru my headphones and or Harmon/Kardon speakers is superb.

Pros: Easy installation in case and more than enough hard drive and USB capacity - and especially for the price.

Cons: The on-board graphics not adequate for movies either on screen or by way of HDMI. Occassionally, lines run down the screen, Oh well, I was going to buy a graphics card anyway!

Other Thoughts: This is the second computer I have built one piece at a time.

Pros: Linux supported (Lubuntu 14.10 64 bit & Lubuntu 14.04.2 64 bit). These 2 Linux distros gave me 13-16 second boot times, from the time I pressed the power button to the time it was ready to use! This motherboard has so many features and so many options that I doubt I will use them all. I also like the layout of the bios.

Cons: The board is shorter in width than some motherboards, so when you're connecting the 24 pin power on the right side, you have to be careful. The right side of the motherboard overlaps the motherboard stand-offs by about 1mm.
