The USB 3.0 and 2.0 headers are close, but they are standard block design, if using standard internal headers for USB 3.0 and 2.0, there is nothing blocking the way.

Pros: Got it paired with A8 7600. Works wells. Bios is nice and user friendly. It's got enough SATA ports and other connectivity for a budget build. Not planning to overclock (A8 7600 wasn't meant for it anyways) so can't comment on that. Recognized my G.Skill Sniper 1866 ram and is running it at full speed after changing the memory setting in the bios by enabling XMP profile. It's suppose to have good audio circuit but can't comment on that since I am using the HDMI port for both video and audio. The on chip graphics on the A8 is plenty fast for it's intended purpose, which is general office stuff, internet surfing and light gaming like Minecraft that my kids like to play. Feels very responsive running Windows 7 off a 240GB SSD, boots to desktop in 20 seconds. Hard to get a better FM2+ board for this price.

Cons: Would be nice if it had a DVI port instead of the analog VGA port. Again, I'm using the HDMI port so it really wasn't a con for me but may be for some.

Pros: The BIOS screen is very intuitive and complete, and provides all of the options I needed. I've had no problem with the board since my new video card came in, and am otherwise happy with my purchase.

Cons: The board layout makes for a more difficult install than necessary. The extra 4-pin power connector gets hidden between your CPU fan and PSU making it nearly impossible to plug in after installation of the CPU, even with plyers. And the RAM seems a little tight as well, both close to one another and close to the main power connector and CPU.

I chose to use an Athlon X4 860K with this due to incredible performance vs price numbers. However, be aware that this board does not actually have onboard graphics, despite having graphics connectors. You will either need a CPU with an APU, or will need a separate graphics card. I was not aware of this, which is more my fault than the board's, but I wanted to throw this out there so someone else doesn't get stuck banging their head off a wall all weekend trying to figure out what 8-short beeps means. I WILL fault Biostar for not including something in the manual in the beep-code section.

Other Thoughts: I wish Biostar had spent the $5 (or whatever it costs them) to throw an antiquated onboard graphics chip on there for budget builds.

Pros: *Beautiful UEFI Bios Layout w/ plenty of over & underclocking functionality.
*USB 3.0 headers for Front USB3 ports!!! Many budget boards skimp on this!!
*HDMI & VGA out available on board - HDMI is great for using this as an entry level HTPC
*Supports high speed DDR3 Ram

Cons: *VGA port on board. DVI would be a better choice to have these days as I doubt many people have VGA monitors anymore.
Having said that, this board worked out great as a replacement for a clients PC i built for him some 8yrs ago. His old LCD vga monitor
is still kicking so this board was a great choice. HDMI ensures future connectivity should he need it.

Other Thoughts: Paired this board with an AMD A6-5400k APU, 8GB of Klevv Fit Ram & FaSpeed 120 SSD... the system flies on Windows 8.1 / 10. This is now the 3rd system I've built with this APU / Board / Ram / SSD combo and I'm very impressed with the result.

For just under $150 you've got a really quick little system with minimal cash layout. Perfect setup for the casual user. Kids, Grandparents, wife or even light office duty. One of my machines has been deployed as such and runs Office & productivity apps fine. After finding a case, power supply, wifi adapter and DVD burner the total hardware cost clocked in at $225!!! Biostar has always made great budget boards and this is no exception. We are quite pleased!!! If it weren't for the VGA I'd look no further and make this my default recommendation hands down.

Pros: Not bad for a mini motherboard it give you everything "enough" for you to play around, if ur a noobie like I am.

Cons: Not a con but it warning DO NOT over clock with this motherboard

Other Thoughts: I have bought more than 5 of these products has not had a problem yet not sure why everyone having such a bad luck xD

Pros: Low cost, small size, specs

Cons: Paired this motherboard with a SSD, AMD A6-5400K, and G-Skill 8GB DDR3 - Computer would freeze up on the windows splash screen 75% of startups or restarts. The other 25% of the time it worked fine, and the computer worked great. Finally bit the bullet and replaced this board with a Gigabyte board (GA-F2A78M-D3H) and it works perfectly now. This change concreted that the board was the issue. Would love to return it.

Other Thoughts: Currently used for a small, low power server running various games. Amd a6 series, 16gb 2333, ssd and that's all. Ftb infinity, killing floor, terraria, TeamSpeak 3

Pros: I have other Biostar boards that did very well. This one runs good, Just the HDMI isn't working

Other Thoughts: I built this for a customer, now i'll have to purchase a low profile video card so that she can plug it into her LED TV.
