5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Board

Comments: Just completed my "quite" gaming computer using this MB. Working great and has good overclocking potential. I bought the black board and it looks cool thru the window with UV lights.My system;
Soyo KT400 Ultra, AMD XP 2800+, Jatron nVidia GeForce FX5600 with 256k memory, Kingston 512k 2.5CL PC2700 memory, WD 80 Gig Special Edition with 8M cache,Audigy Gamer Sound card, Creative I-trique 3300 2.1 speakers, Antec case with Antec 430W powersupply. All the above bought without incidence through newegg.com. Buy only through newegg.com. They are awsome and their RMA is unparalleled in the industry!!!

3 out of 5 eggs

Comments: The board seemed to work OK at first, but it came with a battery that went dead very soon. After replacing it, I now get infrequent random blackouts where the whole thing goes blank. Also, I could never figure out how to get a working driver for the network adapter in XP, it loads OK in ME, though. It really upsets me that the board has these faults because it is a great board for performance and I have had NO trouble with the RAID (unlike other) I set up a 01 array for my first time and never any trouble in a month.
My problems could be with my complicated SCSI/RAID/IDE setup or bios compatibilities, but more likely the dead battery and blankouts clue toward some basic electrical circutry fault. I will RMA for a replacement of the same board and hope that the new one works this great and has no flaws.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst thing I ordered from NewEgg

Comments: <a href='www.soyousa.com' target=_blank>www.soyousa.com</a>

This was some time ago, and I've just gotten around to reviewing it. I chose this board because at the time xxxxxxx deemed it the fastest Athlon XP board available. While I personally can't compare it to every board, this sucker flies. It's excellent for overclocking (if you know what you're doing and have good ram) and with it, a lot of fans, and patience I've managed to push my 2500+ barton up from its stock 1.83GHz to 2.34GHz. While running cool at 117 Farenheit. It may be running cool, quiet is another story :).

This board has a tremendous amount of options, and for less than $100 you really can't go wrong. The mobo is the most neglected, most important part of your whole system. It's the core, everything goes through it. A good one is important.

That said, buy this board.

Comments: Got this board on a RMA from a bad MSI board and this SOYO DRAGON is a very reliable and fast no problems at all and very easy to set up. using pc2700ddr and AMD ATHLON 2500+ barton and 80 gig WD it cant be beat for the price I would recomend getting this board over Msi. thanks newegg for the great service.

5 out of 5 eggsLightening Upgrade

Comments: A Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra was the best board I every had (lightening got it) and I truly hope this KT400 Dragon Ultra replacement/upgrade serves as well. Soyo's run exceptionally well in this configurationa and will be hard to beat by competition; plus this is likely the fastest 333fsb running. This new KT400 started up without a hitch and is really flying with the Barton AMD +2500, Hercules Radeon 9000 128 DDR AGP, and 1 gig of Kinston 2700 memory. A solid copper Flower heat sink by Zalman (CNPS6000-CU)is "super quiet" and a welcome addition to my case (46C has been max)! As recommended by someone before me, download the lastest bios, the latest hightpoint Raid controller driver (_2341) and follow the handbook! Then enjoy the smooth action of the Soyo! Newegg is super and the only way to shop computer components!

5 out of 5 eggsLOVE IT!!

Comments: I love this board! This was the first time I built a computer. I have a Athlon XP 2600 333fsb, 1 gig of PC2700, QuietMax3000 Heatsinc and fan, Radeon 9000 (waiting for the ATI RADEON 9200 128MB to come down), AverMedia TV card, 30gig and 10 gig drives, a ton of case mods, and thats about it.
Everything was so simple and it has everything I needed to make my first one easy and fly at the same time!
I will probably stay with Soyo forever if they keep things so smooth. I highly recomend this board!!!!
p.s. squidward- you have to manually set the higher AMD processors in the bios. I had the same thing.
