Comments: This board is the best board I hav ever had in my whole life! But all I have ever had is Soyo boards... But I did have an ECS when I first started building my own systems. As far as it goes, I have never seen a soyo board with this many features, and if you look at the newer model it has less features... I moved up from a kt600 to a kt880 and you can notice the difference. ps. very OCable!

Comments: This is one of Soyo's best motherboards. It can support a whopping 4 GIGs of RAM, and up to 8 USB and 2 Firewire connections (only 4 USB and 0 Firewire ports are built-in. You have to get front or back panel ports for the others). I love how few jumpers are on the board. If you make a settings mistake, it's probably in the BIOS< not on the board itself.

Comments: I just put upgraded to this board from a MSI KT7 turbo 2. This motherboard rocks, superfast. I added a XP3200 + CPU with a gig of PC3200 ram. Trust me, this motherboard isn't for the first timer builder but it's one of the fastest, if not theee fastest motherboards out there.

Comments: This motherboard is a good buy, but when you get it make sure your CPU cooling fan is atleast 4000 RPM's, the one I had was 2300 RPM's and I later found out that it needs a 3500 RPM fan atleast or it will cut power to prevent CPU overheating. So I threw my old fan away and ordered a 6800 RPM one to replace it, works like a charm!

Comments: Expect great things from Soyo USA. High preformace for big gamers and serious servers!
Im using amd 3000+ 333mhz
1gb pc2700 Elixer
GF fx 5700 ultra 128mb 8x
I game and run servers locally for tournaments and I get everything out of this system that i expect from it.
A must buy for those that want power and preformace under one tower! =D

Comments: I bought this board to use in a home file server that I put together. The main selling point with me is the fact that you can hook up 12 IDE devices (4xSATA, 8xEIDE). Installation went reasonably smoothly, but the first board that I bought died while I was burning in the system overnight. I RMA'd it and the replacement works with no problems.

My system has 4x200GB Maxtor SATA drives installed and I had some trouble at first getting it to recognize the drives installed on the 3rd and 4th SATA ports. I finally traced this problem to Maxtor's MaxBlast3 disk utility. DO NOT use it to format the drives. The system will not be able to access them. If you use Windows XP's standard admin tools, the drives format and are recognized with no problems. (It does take a lot more time though)

The only other minor beef that I have with this MB is that it has a row of capacitors very close to the socket and it can be a bit of a fiddle getting your HSF installed. Larger HSF's may not fit on this motherboard.

Comments: I first bought the Dragon1, which would not run 200mhz front side with my xp3200, new egg promply refunded the item, and i replaced it with the dragon2. It was so easy to setup the dragon 2, not one problem, super fast and has never crashed once. New egg rocks.
