niCE
- Pros: Green, Easy Install, Great stabability - 2x x16 PCIE for my 2 9800GTX.. Nice overclocking for my Q9450 ( I keep it at 3.0 Ghz @ air ), first one was DOA
- Cons: Haven't used my PC in a few weeks cause of burned out PSU
- Other Thoughts: It was pretty cheap and worth it when I got it , it was like 150$ when i got it, so its deffinetly a big upgrade
Good bang for your buck
- Pros: Stable with decent overclocks on CPU, RAM and GPU's
Easy to overclock in BIOS LED Display is very handy if you ever needed to troubleshoot a problem Comes with plenty of cables Has great looks, the green scheme looks much better IMO than many other models Cool post logo
- Cons: Northbridge can run somewhat hot
Northbridge fan was noisy, ended up taking it off, temperatures raised only a couple degrees. Has been finicky when I've had to re-seat the ram. (After a thorough dust cleaning) It would not post with all four slots filled, rather I had to let it post with one slot filled, shut it down, then fill the remaining three and then all was good again.
- Other Thoughts: I don't usually write reviews but I felt compelled to after having such a great experience with this MOBO. I've had this board for about a year and a half and it has been running almost non stop since then, I have had ZERO major problems and only a few minor nitpicks since I've owned it. My only regret is how much I payed for it back then compared to how cheap it is now. Alas, the price you pay for buying any electronics. :D
Motherboard 780i
- Pros: I love this motherboard for gaming is running great and can be capacity until 3 video cards, I only and running with only one but I order my second card by Newegg pretty son, I really want to see it this last 2 working together, the installation was really easy and quick but remember you need to reboot the system.
- Cons: Only have problem with the size, remember a least to have a lot room for this motherboard, I have some problems with the memory ram (8gb) but was because I was running windows vista 32 and only can be running until 4gb of memory ram but with windows vista 64 will be no a problem at all can run from 4gb up.
