Easy to fix in the bios but a bit disconcerting at first. Other Thoughts: Purchased to upgrade a workstation to Sandy-Bridge EP processors. Easy upgrade and very happy with the results. Pros: Works perfectly with Linux (Opensuse 12.1). Audio and 1394 on board. Huge RAM capacity.

Cons: Beeped like crazy when I first powered it up. Really loud and I thought something was badly wrong with it. Turns out that the alarm goes off if any of the fan headers are not connected. Easy to fix in the bios but a bit disconcerting at first.

Other Thoughts: Purchased to upgrade a workstation to Sandy-Bridge EP processors. Easy upgrade and very happy with the results.
