4 out of 5 eggsGood Motherboard

Pros: easy to install, plenty of ports and connectors. HDMI.

Cons: who needs serial ports anymore? Drivers from Jetway are a waste. The build quality isn't up to par compared to say an ASUS or Gigabyte, but it's not terrible - just need to be careful installing the components.

Other Thoughts: I never used the stock heatsink, I used a low-profile silverstone heatsink (also from NE) and it's been a very nice system - Windows MCE to play DVDs and movies off home network.

Audio over HDMI has been a little flaky. not sure if it's the audio codecs or the HDMI driver or both. Still investigating

2 out of 5 eggsShady Mobo...Beware

Pros: Mini ITX
Bundled Low Profile Heatsink
AM2+/AM3 Compatible
HDMI Output
Plenty of SATA and USB ports Available
Accepts 65w Procs

Cons: Fans included with board are really bad-CPU Heatsink Fan had to be replaced (included non PWM 70mmx10mm replaced W/ 70x15 PWM)
Jetways Site need's updated drivers
Audio over HDMI is problematic (see below)
RUNS HOT!!!!!!!!!

Other Thoughts: Feature rich motherboard with a pretty good bios. It's great that it came with a low profile cpu heatsink. Fan was not PWM, ran into serious CPU heat issues, needed to be replaced. By far my largest complaint is getting audio over HDMI to actually work. Manufacturers website lists as HDCP compatable, but nvideas built in utility does notrecognize it. After 3 reloads and many driver versions, I found that there is a hdcp flash that will correct the issue (was meant for an xfx mobo I believe). Don't bother with Jetway's chipset/hdmi audio drivers...get them straight from nvidea's site. It took 3 weeks to get the HDMI audio to work correctly.

4 out of 5 eggsBoard Good, DVI Socket BAD!

Pros: Easy to install/set up, good layout, plenty usb ports. Good features, nice running board.

Cons: Cheaply made components. Case adapter needed to be tweaked to make it stay in the case. Included cables long enough for server case(18 inch SATA cables). Adapter needed to install SATA optical drive.

Other Thoughts: The DVI port is socket mounted, not soldered. A small sideways movement is enough to rip the connector from its socket. The metal surround for the video ports is too thin to offer any support. The connector can be re-inserted in its socket, but some motherboard disassembly is necessary. I used superglue when installing a new socket. If you destroy the pins as I did, a new socket can be had google '29 Pin Integrated Right Angle DVI Socket Connector' cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: Perfect! this is exactly what I needed. I'm running this as a Windows7 MCE DVR and it's running HD quality video without a problem.
I was surprised that I was able to get a fully functional DVR setup in a day without a single driver issue.

Cons: only minor issue I had was that the front audio connector is right next to the pci port so I had to bend it out a little so that I could fully seat my capture card.

Other Thoughts: FYI.
Running the Rosewill RC-CIX-01 BK Glossy Black Steel Cube Mini-ITX Computer Case with 1 gig of ram and managed to cram two hd's in the case.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: seems to be a good priced board

Cons: simply did not work for me. It booted but only to shut down 3s later and reboot in an endless cycle. No beeping or anything. I hope the replacement will at least boot for me.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mobo

Pros: lots of USB ports

Cons: Better documentation would be helpful.

Other Thoughts: Be sure to install AMD Processor driver and change power settings to enable Cool'n'quiet technology. Have not discovered any problems with USB, although I have only used Keyboard/Mouse and not removable storage so far.
My HTPC Setup:

4 out of 5 eggsBios supports AMD "Cool n Quiet"

Pros: The BIOS for this mobo supports AMD's "Cool n Quiet" technology, even though it is not advertised in any of the documentations or Jetway's website. Looking through the BIOS and found that the board comes with "Cool n Quiet" automatically enabled from the factory.

After downloading "AMD Processor Driver Version 1.3.2.0053 for Windows XP" from the AMD website, "Cool n Quiet" loaded up and was functioning as designed.

Prior to "Cool n Quiet" the CPU was running at full 2.6 Ghz operating at 42 degrees C at idle. The CPU fan was running at about 1500 rpm under Jetway's "MY Guard" temperature/fan control.

After "Cool n Quiet" install the CPU is now running at under 1 Ghz, below 29 degree C and the CPU fan does not even kick on at idle.

Wohoo, what a big difference in overall system temp and power savings before and after "Cool n Quiet"

Cons: Poor documentation or mobo software support on Jetway's part. They could have provided "Cool n Quiet" drivers in the CD provided.

Other Thoughts: System Build:
Jetway JNC62K motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5050e Brisbane 2.60Ghz CPU
Silverstone NT07-AM2 CPU heatsink and Fan
Crucial 2Ghz DDR2 800 SDRAM
Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB SATA H/D
Samsung SH-S223F 22x SATA DVD burner
InWin BM643 mini ITX tower w/ 120W power supply

2 out of 5 eggsBeware USB

Pros: Small (of course). Fast with a pretty capable bios. Can boot from thumb drives etc.. Plays nice with SSD.

Cons: Awful USB support. A big attraction to me was the amount of USB ports it had on board. Even with 2-3 devices plugged in they act up, cut out, or stop working all together. USB GPS can barely get a lock most of the time. All research and tests related to this problem always point to USB. No bios update or windows driver change/update has fixed this issue. I would not recommend thus board personally. I am stuck with it for now and can only hope they find out what's up with it's disgraceful USB performance.

Other Thoughts: Other users of this board on a community forum for Car PC's also report these USB issues. If this wasn't such a big issue then I think this board would get a 5 from me and meet anyone's needs. I'm only one person but again, BEWARE!

3 out of 5 eggsNotSoSure

Pros: Very fast, small and compact. Sets up lightening fast - currently using a tri-core phenom with no problems on the process side however...

Cons: Cons - seems to run great till you actually use a usb port. At that point the system acts up quite a bit - and I usually lose one or both usb devices plugged in. Newegg shipped it quick, but in this case I have been frustrated with the board and using usb devices. Tried updating bios to current - problem still exist.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CarPC MB!!

Pros: Small but powerful. I'm running this with an AMD Athlon X2 4850e 2.5GHz Socket AM2 45W Dual. Everything runs much faster than my old P4 3.0. Garmin mobile comes up instantly. Not like before when it took 5 to 10 seconds to pop up. This board and chip is so fast I’m running Vista with it. 2 GB memory stick.

Cons: The one thing I had problems with was installing windows. The board would not recognize my SATA drive as a boot option. I had to do a bios update, once that was done everything was fine. Wasted too much time before I thought about doing a bios update.

Other Thoughts: I recommend this board to anyone who has a carpc. It's fat and doesn't use allot of power. I'm thinking about buying another for the future. That's how good it is.
