JetWay's M26GT4 motherboard has its eye on the future. The Micro-ATX form factor motherboard is designed to support the latest Socket AM2 Athlon 64-bit processors as well as Sempron CPUswith its onboard NVIDIA NF6100-430 single chipset and it's also AM3 ready.

Performance is accelerated with support for Hyper Transport technology and the 4GB of DDR2 800 memory also has dual channel support for further performance gains. The nForce 6100 chip has DirectX 9.0 Shader Model 3.0 capability to deliver ultra-realistic effects which can be further enhanced with the addition of a PCI Express x16 expansion card. Six channels of HD audio make the most of any video experience.

A total of six USB 2.0 ports allows for nearly unlimited possibilities in connecting peripheral devices and local storage is handled by four 3Gb/s SATA connectors with the capability for multiple RAID configurations for added security and performance. An eSATA connector offers the same speeds for external drives.

Pros: Good motherboard for what it costs. No problems with this at all, easy to overclock.

Cons: Too bad it only has 2 memory slots and a max supported amount of 4GB, O well.

Pros: Attractive, functional, amazing BIOS options. Used with AMD 5000+ x2 AM2 processor. For the price you cannot beat this.

Cons: Somewhat limited in the CPU's it'll take. Not much room for upgrading.

Other Thoughts: Used for an Ubuntu machine and it couldn't have fit more perfectly for my needs.

Pros: Easy install, Cheap no frills board for a simple cheap build.

Cons: Alittle low, but high pitched humming noise from sound.. Not sure if it could be something other than the board..

Other Thoughts: Used an AMD 64x 2.7 processor and 2x1 gig ram..
No installation or driver problems.. Good grafics..
