5 out of 5 eggsHOT MB!

Pros: 790FX Chipset, Giga LAN, Debug Display, overclockers dream! FASSSSST! This little baby is one firecracker! Jetway really did a fine job on this board! Read the CPU description in 'other thoughts' for current setup, and this blew the socks off of the prior setup: K9N2 Platinum MB, AMD 5200+ 64 X2, 4GB 800 CAS 5 RAM, XFX 8600GT Video!

Cons: haven't found any cons

Other Thoughts: Used in HTPC.... AMD 4000+ 64 X2 CPU, 2GB 667 Ram, Gigabyte 4550 Video, Fujitsu 160GB (for Windows 7 OS), WD Caviar Black 1TB for movies / music..... just purchased a Rosewill RSV-S4-X SATA Port Multiplier which will be connected up to HTPC with 4 more WD Caviar Black 1TB drives for a total of 5TB storage for our HTPC. (If you wanna make your wife super happy, build her a HTPC!

1 out of 5 eggsStay away from this company.

Pros: None

Cons: Cheap board. I had the ha04 for a few months before it died on me. Second board arrived DOA. I will NEVER buy any product from this company again.

Other Thoughts: Jetway charges TEN DOLLARS just to process an RMA! This is on top of the return shipping charges. Spend a little more and buy from a more reputable company.

Pros: this mobo supports am3 i am yet to buy one
i thought t was just am2
but if you look on the jetway site it will give you a list of supported cpus

so far 7 months, no failures, no bsod because of the mobo no failed anything

Cons: nothing yet only if you dont like blue and yellow or an onboard mobo temp monitor with a blue led light that shows that its on and you have an acrylic see through case and dont want any lights emitting at night

Other Thoughts: bought it on

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Board

Pros: The board has enough power to run a quad-core system with 4GB of ram. It also has two IDE ports making it ideal for upgrading an older system. The 7 Segment LED display helps make trouble-shooting a breeze, and everything is very manageable and easy to use. Fits perfectly into my Thermaltake case with plenty of room for the hard drive bay.

Cons: The bios is out-of-date and causes the computer to restart every time it is powered off from the OS. A bios upgrade solves that problem, however.

Other Thoughts: The 8-pin connector that most people have trouble with is easily remedied by a $1 4 Pin -> 8 Pin connector that can be picked up from some computer-specialty stores. Besides that there is another 4 pin connector on the motherboard (same connector as for IDE devices). The board definitely consumes a lot of power, but in the end it still works great.

I still prefer Gigabyte over the Jetway, merely as a personal preference.

5 out of 5 eggsGood motherboard so far

Pros: I was brought to my first purchase of a JetWay motherboard in the interest of a limited part replacement/upgrade for my computer. Over the past week with my previous setup I had been getting unreliable responses from my power switch. I suspected my power supply, which I upgraded, but I was also interested in replacing my ASUS M2NPV-VM mobo because I have had glitches related to it before too (I suspected conflicts between an Nvidia chipset and an ATI graphics card). This JetWay motherboard was attractive for me because it had two IDE ports, saving me from having to buy an expansion card or new drives, and it's upgradeable to newer Phenom CPUs while maintaining compatibility with earlier hardware (I carried over my memory and Athlon 4200+ from the previous setup). After I got past the 8-pin power connector issue (see below) I got Win XP going, which of course I had to...adjust to make compatible with the new mobo. The computer is running well and I'm looking forward to future upgrades.

Cons: As another person mentioned, this motherboard has an 8-pin power connector (can be seen in NewEgg's picture in between the mouse and keyboard connectors and the line of heat sinks). This frustrated me at first because the computer wouldn't start without anything connected, but I found that a 4-pin cable works. The 4-pin cable is keyed so it'll only fit into the 8-pin connector one way. I suppose higher demanding setups may require a full 8-pin cable, but the 4-pin works reliably with what I have.

Other Thoughts: Kind of pricey compared to what I normally spend on motherboards, but since two IDE ports seems to be getting rare I had little choice. Good upgradeability though, as I mentioned before. I'll probably be keeping this board for a while.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: I loved this MB when I first received it. The price is good. The reviews were good. The motherboard performed fine, until about two months ago. The board started to post slower and slower, then wouldn't power on. I contacted customer support and the journey started.

Cons: It the customer support was and is poor. I emailed customer support and received an email in about two hours. I was shocked about how fast the response was. The email gave the the basic advice that a first contact usually is (make sure the 24pin is plugged in, memory seated, etc....). That didn't work, so I emailed again. That took about a day, I got some more basic info and it didn't work. Then when that didn't work, emailed again. The customer support person told me to contact Newegg for a RMA number. I emailed him back and stated it had been over 30 days and newegg would return the motherboard. I told him what I needed to do to get a RMA number from Jetway. He then referred me to Jetway's warranty info webpage. I emailed him again about two weeks ago and yet to hear any info or RMA number.

Other Thoughts: I am disappointed with Jetway at this time. I would not recommended Jetway at this time because of tech support.

1 out of 5 eggsWarning to all those buying this motherboard

Pros: Good cheap mobo with lots of IDE cables for those that want a median upgrade from an older AGP setup.

Cons: The mobo requires an 8 pin power connector in addition to the 24 pin. This is not mention by newegg in its hardware profile. It is not mentioned anywhere in the advertisements and most power supply's will not have this connection.

Other Thoughts: Had new egg listed that this requires an 8 pin, I would not have purchased this board.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat only if i could understand support

Pros: Great board. Looks very nice no problems. The little display on the bottom tells you if something went wrong witch is a help. Got up and running in no time. I play all my games with this board and i love it. i paired it with the amd phenomII 4x 3.0ghz black edition. runs like a champ.

Cons: Not a con. I have a older power supply and i thought i needed to get a new one because you need a 8pin plug with the 24 pin plug. Only if your running the Am2+ socket. I called support and i got this worked out i called support who was nice but i had a very hard time understanding him and got my 4pin to do the job.

Other Thoughts: I recommend this board to the average pc user very nice good layout good quality. Crossfire is a plus. But im a nivida man:(
