This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: 1) Arrived in one piece (Thanks UPS/Newegg!) 2) It was, in fact, a mini-ITX MB. 3) It looked like a MB and somewhat acted like a MB (see Cons). 4) A PRINTED manual was included! 5) Despite the ATX power connector in a weired location (next to IO panel), my power supply had long enough cable, so that it just cleared the CPU fan by about 2 mm. Great challege to my cable management skills! 6) I had a small needlenose plier handy! All jumpers were right next to something else, so that your fingers can't reach them (unless you're a hamster-sized, that is). How other mini-ITX MB makers put them in reachable location is beyond me. 7) I should stop now.....
Cons: I hope these are not "by design": 1) As another reviewer mentioned, extreamly picky about memory. One RAM was not detected, another 1GB RAM was detected only as 512MB. Both are good/working RAMS (G.Skill/Kingston), and meet the specs. 2) Cannot handle IDE (PATA) device and USB keyboard at the same time. 3) Failed to detect IDE primary slave half the time at the bootup. 4) Could not detect any USB dirves (thumb dirves, DVD drives, etc.)
1) I can handle somewhat, but 2)-4) made it impossible to install OS (Ubuntu Server) the way I wanted to (OS in IDE-CF card).
I tried to install it to IDE CD drive to SATA drive (so that I can image it to CF card later), but failed (keyboard is kind of useful when installing an OS).
I also tried from USB drives, but none could be detected.
I tried about 40 different CMOS settings to solve this, but none worked.
It may be just a bad one, but never seen one w/ such limited and specific problems.
Other Thoughts: RMA'd. First/last JetWay MB.
The problem with dysfunctional MB that at least POST is that it takes a while to figure out that it's not other problems (RAM, HD, CD drive, CMOS settings). Also, this MB just hangs, usually w/o any error messages. The only error message I saw was "Bootdisk failure ...", only when NO dirve was connected. Otherwise, it just hangs after POST or the keyboard stops working.
2) is the biggest problem. w/ any drive (HD, CD, etc.) attached, the response to key strokes becomes sluggish in CMOS setup, and almost totally fails after POST. Almost totally, because I saw responses to key stroke (enter) a few times, after pushing it 20~30 times!
Yes, I'm typing this w/ one of the keyboard (generic wired USB) I tried. Just a generic one w/ no need to install specific drivers (on Win or Linux).
My X-mas break server build plan just went up in smoke.

Good Networking Appliance

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Low Power, Dual Gigabit LAN, extremely low profile, virtually no noise from its small fan, SATA, includes serial bracket, has ability to overclock :D
Cons: Weird placement of power connector, would have preferred two SODIMM slots instead of one DIMM
Other Thoughts: First Mini-ITX build. Using this to run an Astaro Security Gateway. Excellent for embedded applications. First Jetway product and I am very impressed. This will not be my last Jetway product.

Small but needs better parts
Reviewed By: Jeff on 12/9/2009
Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Very small, everything comes ready to slap into a mini-case.
Cons: Realtek 8110SC network chipset is complete garbage. If you get this motherboard to build a nice tiny Linux security system, you will find that practically no security OS detects or even wants to support this network card. Doesn't work with Smoothwall. Works in IpCOP but is incredibly slow. Browsing other security products (ie Astero) hardware compat list show it's one of the only network cards (with 100's of others working fine) listed as non-functional and not supported. If you want to use this system with Linux forget it or get ready to do a lot of work. PCI slot is meant for tiny tiny PCI cards. Don't think you can buy a PCI dual network card to make up for the garbage Realtek chipset they use and expect it to fit in the case. Card can't be longer or taller than a few inches which pretty much rules out most PCI cards. Only supports 1 GB of memory although the BIOS is so bad, don't be surprised if the 1 GB chip you bought that meets all the specs is seen as 512 MB
Other Thoughts: If you're getting this to run Windows, can deal with 1 GB of memory limit and don't have any PCI cards that you want to install, go for it. Definately don't buy this motherboard if you want to use Linux or build a security system (the dual network card is attractive but it doesn't work in almost every security system out there. If you do get it to work, which is rare, it will slow your internet down 75% or more)
