JetWay JNAF92-Q67 LGA 1155 Intel Q67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Board has native PCI that works with SandyBridge CPUs. This is important for those who have older Macs with PCI-X ProTools HD Cards. You can update your Mac to OSX 10.6.8 and run these cards with Protools 10 with no problems. Works great with Windows 7 as well.

Cons: Wish the board had at least one more SATA port. 5 is just not enough. Wish the board had more USB ports. Wish the board had USB 3. Wish there wasn't so many com ports. Wish the price was a little cheaper. That's about it for the wishes.

Other Thoughts: This is the only board that I know of that will allow you to have an socket 1155 PTHD3 or PTHD4. There is a pretty good thread at Tonymacx86 on getting this board to work 100% with SnowLeopard 10.6.8.

Pros: This board has allot of I/O options

Cons: The manual is lacking in debugging advice. Website lacks in additional information. The board also does not have many case fan board plugs.

Other Thoughts: Can't say much about this board, it was Dead on arrival. I had a tight deadline to meet to get this computer built. Overnight shipping the board to get it DOA was not a great start. The $200 price tag is a little over kill, your really only paying for the extra COMM ports.

Pros: Only motherboard with modern bits and 4 PCI slots

Cons: HORRIBLE company. Cryptic BIOS update instructions, and when followed, the result is "bios write protected". No mention of it in the manual.

I have three of the same card and only two will work; I move them around and the two that work will change but the third one never does.

Other Thoughts: There seem to be several jetway websites, each one has a different BIOS date and different broken links to the BIOS.

Pros: This is one of the ONLY boards which allows Pro Tools HD users with older PCI-x cards to upgrade to a Sandy Bridge platform without paying $$$ to crossgrade to the new cards.
It also is very compatible with making a "hackintosh" osx / win7 machine if interested.
It allows up to a PT HD|4 on the board!

Cons: could be a little cheaper for the lack of modern features.
silly amount of comm ports.
nothing major.

Other Thoughts: this board must be focused on manufacturing with all the extra comm ports available, but you can just disable them and be on your merry way.

Pros: Everything as expected from a quality board.

This was the ONLY board on the market that met my demands.
