3 out of 5 eggsBlech

Pros: Everything works, eventually...

Cons: I would say this is kind of a garbagy MB. For what I needed it to do, it did. Nothing special and no gaming. It was a pain to get this thing working properly though. Booting this thing up is a pain if you decide to turn it off or power cycle it. At first I thought it was the power supply, but the power supply works fine when powering another system. Sometimes you have to unplug the power for 2 minutes before you can fire it back up again. The BIOS is decent enough for setting up the RAM and boot options - no problems there.

Other Thoughts: Not really impressed with this board, but it has been rock solid running 7 months almost continuously.

Pros: worked well enough for about 3 months. Had some minor start-up issues, but otherwise ran quite well for the price.

Cons: BIOS. 3 weeks after updating BIOS, motherboard up and died.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: This was my first build, and everything had installed easily for the most part. I was confused with it going straight into bios when I was bench testing, but that was due to my lack of knowledge about the type of bios it uses. If it doesn't have a device to boot from it will go straight into the bios.

Cons: Well I wish the documentation in the manual had a more info about the motherboard. Also one problem I had with my build was from the location of the usb headers, they were a little bit too far, so I cant use my from usbs. Its mostly my case's problem though, a little bit of soldering wire will fix this.

Other Thoughts: Next time I build a pc I will go for a higher end motherboard, but for a first build this works great.

1 out of 5 eggsRead my previous comment...

Pros: When the board is not giving you BIOS issues it works great.

Cons: The BIOS..

Other Thoughts: I RMA'd the product as soon as I got my Crossfire GPU. The BIOS once again had problems. If my computer was ever to reset itself.. I would have to remove the GPU just like I had to remove the external hard drive just to configure the BIOS to get the motherboard to boot to the right way. I do not recommend this board to anyone until the BIOS receives a serious overhaul. Its well wortg the extra money to buy a reliable board like ASUS.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: The board comes with tons of features. Great SATA controller, smooth Windows installation.. etc. Works as advertised.

Cons: The BIOS is lacking modern updates. Contains one method of overclocking. Not sure if this is how all of the FM1 chips are but you cannot change the FSB speed on this board. The motherboard plate is poorly made. You have to remove some of the inserts..

Other Thoughts: The BIOS will not boot if you have a external hard drive attached.. I haven't toyed around with it to much yet. But fresh boot after unplugging it.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy builder.

Pros: Painless install. HDMI-capable system is running stable on <150 watts.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Of course it would be better to have copper chipset coolers, and heat pipes and the like, but that would be a silly expectation for a board in this price range. You really get your money's worth on this!

1 out of 5 eggsBricked after BIOS Update

Pros: Hassle-free setup, clear documentation (for a MB)

Cons: Failed to POST after BIOS update to A07

Other Thoughts: I'm in the middle of the RMA process right now so I'll update my review once it's resolved.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This was a friggin' bargain! Setup was painless. I didn't need to fool around with the BIOS or anything. I just installed a few drivers and was ready to go. This and the AMD A6 processor made a perfect Sims 3 rig for my wife.

Cons: None come to mind.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!!

Pros: Great Buy! Got This For A Budget Llano Rig. I Do A Lot Of Gaming And Have Had No Problems! Layout Is Good Overall. I Run Dual Graphics With A 6670 And The Built In HD 6550D In The A8-APU.
After Combining I Get A HD 6690D2 And Believe Me I Run BF3, MW3, Crysis 2 All Maxed Out With Playable Frames. You Wont Be Dissapointed Try It!!

Cons: Only 2 Memory Slots, But Not Going To Take An Egg Cause The (2x4GB) 8 Gig Kits Are Cheap And Fast. Go With That!!

Other Thoughts: System Specs:

-Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)
-AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz
-SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner
-Corsair Force Series 3
-COOLER MASTER Elite 360
-Rosewill Green Series RG530-S12 530W
