5 out of 5 eggsAmazing features in compact size

Pros: Tons of features inside the BIOS, I don't even know what a bunch of them do..., Built-in video(HDMI, VGA, DP, and LVDS). Dual 10/100/1000 NIC, CPU heatsink included. Supports PCI-e 16x 3.0, has plenty of motherboard headers for expandability, and has option to connect Jetway daughterboards (Can't wait to try out the Nvidia graphics board), mSata & miniPCIe cards give this thing a great amount of other options. I simply love it.

Cons: The price is a little higher than I would like to have spent but it pays for itself if you are a power user and/ or technically inclined.

Other Thoughts: I only bought this because I wanted to make use of the CPU from a laptop that needed repair. This was the only M/B I could find with a G2 socket. It accepted the CPU, RAM, miniPCIe WIFI card, and sata drive from the laptop. Basically a laptop transformed into a desktop. Using an Intel i5-3230M CPU & stuck it inside the Bitfenix Prodigy.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as adverised

Pros: Fits easily. Power sipper. M.2 slot is very welcome. I've used two of these boards in a HTPC and a server. The server has run non stop for about six months with no issues. Draws around 56 watts under load with a i7 quad core. idles around 19 watts.

Cons: Killed first board because the instructions are too cryptic. Used install instruction from previous model to install (not easy to find). Only true hassle is the choice of heatsinks is sparse. What is available works, but not as well as I would like.

Other Thoughts: Am not sure the second power (CPU) plugin is necessary. Stock supplied heatsink is noisy.

1 out of 5 eggs2 out of 3 boards DOA

Pros: The one I had that works is very solid is a brick too. Poor quality control.

Cons: 2 out of 3 boards DOA is a gigantic waste of time. I have 2 sets of identical components, CPU, RAM, SSD and can switch them around with the working board fine but I've just received my RMA replacement for the 1st dead board and this one is stone dead too.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Reasonably Fast, Reliable, Good Components, Excellent Connectivity and Expansion Capability, Excellent BIOS Setting Options.

There are ports... Lots of port headers onboard, and you can buy expansion port boards for more yet.

Using with a 3612QM, 8GB DDR3, and 256GB mSATA3 as a carpc, so far 5 months covering the heat of summer and cold of winter without issue.

Using HDMI out to drive the monitor from the HD4000 graphics, so far so good.

Cons: Wish the CPU cooler was quieter, can hear it even though it's in a case behind the rear seat.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperior HTPC Mini ITX board

Pros: Excellent design for a mobile processor HTPC board. Supports the mobile chips for lower power consumption, quick, supports MSATA as well as SATA, dual Gigabit Ethernet which can be teamed, lots of bios options.

Cons: Only negative is that the included CPU heatsink and fan was a bit noisy but not a big deal since I usually wind up doing that anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing little board!

Pros: Small, fast & full featured.... industrial quality. Amazing tech support, they even helped with the LVDS wiring on my screen that was being attached to the system & wrote a custom bios to enable the specific resolution/bit depth I required!

Cons: it might seem expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: At this point, this is one of the best companies making these ITX boards that will run a mobile chip. Personally I don't like the other brand of motherboard that is currently avalible for G2 Socket through NewEgg. I hope that someone reviews this and re-stocks this motherboard in the future so that I don't have to order it internationally.
