Other Thoughts: This post is directed to GrateGuy, hey buddy =) just FYI, it's not the boards fault that your AM2 cannot run your RAM at 1066Mhz, AM2+ are the only CPU's that can achieve RAM speeds of 1066Mhz (DDR2). The board is not underclocking anything, 1066Mhz is really 800Mhz designed to run at faster speeds with a voltage increase (unless you buy low-volt modules). All you need to do is lower the multiplier and raise the FSB and you will be able to at least get 920/940Mhz with low timings (this is better than 1066Mhz with loose timings)... Do your homework and you will see that you have purchased a superb board regardless of the CPU that you have. If you need help on anything related to PC's please visit Toms hardware and we will gladly answer any question you have =)

Pros: Its an Asrock, superior PCB as opposed to other brands in the same price-bracket. On-board video can play 720p if you have the right hardware. Price, AM3 ready, you get the idea....
This board may be non-intimidating but just to give ya an example of how it performs, a 550BE can reach 3.8Ghz with little effort. Not one BSOD yet, what more can you ask for???
Cons: None ATM.....
Other Thoughts: Not sure why so many negative reviews, I have been using Asrock boards for many years and to this date I have 0 complaints...

Pros: Cheap.
Cons: After 3 to 4 months, the DVI port failed on it. The D-Sub still works though.
Other Thoughts: In a previous post, I noted that Win2k will not work on it. I ended up having to buy Vista (it was cheaper than XP), which required upgrading more hardware to be Vista-Compatible.
