Get excellent graphics and computing performance with ASRock X58 motherboard. Based on Intel’s X58 chipsets, this ATX form-factor board is designed to support the latest LGA 1366 Core i7 processors.
Having no application limitation of graphics cards, the ASRock X58 motherboard allows you to apply NVIDIA SLI and ATI CrossFire technology according to your needs. Dominate your applications and games with up to 24GB of DDR3 memory fitting into six 240-pin slots with triple channel support and QPI up to 6.4GT/s for increased performance. Onboard Gigabit Ethernet LAN means that you can connect to other networked devices without running into a bottleneck.
Three PCI Express 2.0 x16 graphics card slots can achieve CrossFire-and-SLI-linked performance at a fraction of the price. Six 3Gb/s SATA connectors give you the ability to store massive amounts of data locally with several RAID configurations possible for extra security and high-speed performance and an eSATA port provides the same capabilities for an external drive. A half-dozen USB 2.0 ports give you additional options in connecting and expanding your system.
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Nice layout, has all the features of way more expensive board. Can handle up to 24GB ddr3 memory running @2000 in triple channel mode (see other thoughts). Tri-SLI or Crossfire so you don't have to stick to one company of video cards and you can stack up to 3 in this baby. Great BIOS. Easy overclocker. LCD code readout on the board. Right now this is sold out, but if you see it agian for sale again, don't hesitate, buy it.
Cons: No BIOS walk-thru guide in book or on the provided CD. This is very strange cause I have built way cheaper systems and they have had it. The actual book that is provided, the quick installation guide, is just that. Don't be fooled by how thick it is, as the setup section is only 36 pages long and about half of thoughs pages have nothing to do with the setup. All the rest of the book is how to quick install, but in different languages. This could leave someone stranded if this is their first build.(See other thoughts)
Other Thoughts: This board CAN and DOES run in tripple channel memory mode, newegg only says dual channel in their specifications write up, but this is wrong. Please check the manufactures web page for the real specs of this board before you buy. Also, you should probably print out the setup guide from the Asrock web page for this board as it contains everything that is missing from the provided book (ie BIOS walk thru), this does not tell you how to set it up but it gives you the tools you will need to do the setup (unless you have built alot of computers, then forget what I have said.) Even with the few minor cons, this is a great board and great quality. I will recommend this to anyone who wants a great x58 board for a great price, don't believe me, compare other x58 board specs to this ones and you will be happy.

Pros: Fired right up after getting everything connected. Price is certainly right and what other features can you be looking for? Asrock tuner OC'd my 920 to 2.8ghz right off the bat.
Cons: None so far and my experience with asrock is not to expect them : )
Other Thoughts: My second Asrock board and it's a real 'plus' when a build goes so smooth.

Pros: i7 920 OC @ 3.6ghz effortlessly with OC preset in BIOS. Worked out of box. Has most of the features of $300 mobo from other manufacturers. Draws less power. Nice layout.
Cons: Nothing.
Other Thoughts: I got lazy and used built-in OC in bios. Have not experienced any issue @3.6ghz but noticed it laggs behind manual OC @ same clock. Probably due to too lax mem timing but I don't want to push to max anyway. I'm using OCZ gold DDR3 1600 without any issue unlike what others say after manually adjusting ram voltage and timing as suggested. Maybe OCZ started using different ram chips? I heard Corsair pulls that trick with XMS line...

Don't Bother

Pros: -The 3rd one ran fine. -ASRock Support/RMA are friendly and very speedy
Cons: I had to RMA this hunk of junk twice with ASRock because it was passed 30 days. Today I received the third one. Works like a charm.. Or does it.. Well it works fine, but I can't overclock it ONE BIT! If I do, prime95 BSoDs. This board may be ok for the average user who won't OC. That is, so long as he/she doesn't care that they have to RMA it multiple times before they can get one that functions right.
Other Thoughts: I'm very angered. I will be buying a replacement for this in the future so I can make use of my nice HSF and i920 to get this baby up to 4Ghz.
ASRock support is good though.

Don't touch this

Pros: Looks like it could have been nice. Everything on the board had a nice logical layout. There were also plenty of slots for extra boards. Too bad I didn't get to take advantage of any of them.
Cons: DOA. It kept hanging every five minutes of runtime, and it drove me crazy looking for what the problem was. All the components of the build were new (except the video card), so it put me on a wild goose chase to find out what was causing the hangs.
Other Thoughts: Don't touch ASRock with a ten foot pole. Luckily, Newegg gave me a refund. Newegg gets five eggs. ASRock would have gotten negative eggs, but I didn't have that option.
