1 out of 5 eggscheck out warranty

Pros: Worked okay for a while.

Cons: Started having random lockups and reboots. Could not finish a reinstall of XP. Traded out power supply, Ram, and hard drive--same issue.

Other Thoughts: Read the warranty on manufacturer's website--there essentially is no warranty--only to "authorized distributors." All my other boards are Giga*** and I've never had a problem with them.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Right Drivers/Player

Pros: This Is A Update; This Little Board Will Play 1080P To Any HDTV. However It Has To Use A Player W/DXVA (DirectX Video Acceleration) In Windows Media Player Classic (MPC) 64 Bit, In Win 7 Works Great. With Linux VDPAU With The Latest Smplayer Works Better Than Windows. Google Around For The PPA I Think It's MOTUMEDIA PPA. For Smplayer For The Latest Build. After Disable The PPA!

Cons: I Have This And The New Zacate Also. With Ubuntu 10.4 64 bit This Works As Good Maybe A Bit More Cpu Utilization Than The Zacate. For A HTPC It's Great. I Play 1080p All Day Long With No Lag @ All On My Network(Gigabit Wired ) From My Home Server.

Other Thoughts: Google Is Your Friend.....

5 out of 5 eggsGood little board

Pros: Packed with features
It does everything it claims

Cons: There are no cons... I guess It would be nice if it came with a large heat pipe setup instead of a fan... but whatever

5 out of 5 eggsSolid set of features

Pros: Unhooked case fans, PSU is solid state
Set CPU fan to Stage 1 (lowest)
Installed Windows 7 HP over PXE boot connected through HDMI to my TV.
Watch Netflix and some CBS shows through Media Center.
Video looks great set to 1080p, not sure the source was 1080p, though.
The CPU gets to 65oC max.
Essentially silent. I say eseesntially because if I put my ear on the case I hear the HDD :)

Cons: .

Other Thoughts: During the Windows setup the HDMi video went away. Added VGA and figured that the video only came back if the sound was made from the PC. Installed proper drivers and worked well.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good for th eprice

Pros: Small, lots of ports and affordable. Great BIOS.

Cons: Was not able to install XP or Vista 32bit. Some lag while streaming video.

Other Thoughts: Very good mobo. Don't know why it wouldn't install Vista. Good for a basic HTPC

4 out of 5 eggsCan't Push 46" 1080P

Pros: In expensive, runs cool, integrated HDMI, great for basic computer functions. Small board in an hec case looks right at home with other AV equipment on my TV stand (slightly smaller than my xbox360)

Cons: Running XP Pro, 2GB Ram, Full 512 Shared Video Memory. Full screen streamed video isn't as smooth as it could be on 46" HDTV. I had hoped for more based on other reviews. Might try increasing RAM but I can't go beyond the 512 and the system RAM isn't tapped out according to system monitor. It just doesn't seem to draw the big screen fast enough.

Other Thoughts: I'll still give it 4 stars. Its a good little board and I suspect I just had too high of a hope for an Atom based mobo.

2 out of 5 eggsNot As Pleased As Everyone Else.

Pros: Inexpensive - plenty of ports - very quiet - runs surprisingly cool.

Cons: SLOW - BIOS is annoying - NIC seems weak.

Other Thoughts: This isn't a bad board at all, it's just not as great (to me) as it seems to be to other owners. Speed is definitely the biggest issues. At first I installed 2 GB RAM as Office 2010 would barely run. I upgraded to 4GB and the Office performance is much better, but not as good as it should be. The NIC is really slow - it shows up in Device Manager as a 10/100/1000, but the speeds are more like 10/100.

My computer rates a solid 20/mbps+ from speedtest.net. When I test the computer with this board, I rarely get above 9/mbps. The Latency on my pc is 49ms. On the pc with this board it's 160ms. Both computers are hardwired using Cat6 cable.

5 out of 5 eggsXBMC

Pros: Very awesome for a HTPC... on windows 7 64 bit. Plays everything that I can trow at it 720p to 1080p.

Cons: I had trouble with the handshake issue via HDMI when changing the source on my tv so when you came back to xbmc there was no sound, to fix this get the nvidia GeForce/ION Driver 266.58 WHQL and make sure in your bios you have set the gpu ram set from auto to full 512mb and everything will work smoothly.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for small NAS/iSCSI SAN

Pros: Four internal SATA port + 2 eSATA; PCIe slot for adding better supported NIC. 2 core/4 thread handles load smoothly. Fan is quiet for a 40mm device. Good price. Full sized DIMMs.

Cons: I would have preferred 5 SATA + 1 eSATA.

Other Thoughts: Excellent compatability and performance with Nexenta NAS software using AHCI mode on SATA controller.
