5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked right out of the box and fit into my current case perfectly. Only installation problem was converting my case power cable from 3 to 2 prong - no hassle - just took off plastic casing on case connector.
Was easy to install and set up and was exactly what I wanted to upgrade my husband's system. Thanks newegg for your combo deals!

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This combo was perfect for an upgrade. Price was right and shipping was fast.

5 out of 5 eggsThis memory works

Pros: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B Memory works great with this MB. I have the Athlon II X2 270 Regor overclocked to 3.9GHz (244x 16) at only 1.425 volts (set at 1.45 in bios). Memory is running at 1626MHz 9-9-9-24 T1 with no errors running Prime95 for 12 hours.

Cons: Reading all the reviews this MB might be picky on what memory you use. That is why I'm letting people know what works. The only problem I see with the above memory is the heatspeaders might get into the way of some CPU coolers. I use the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm, but had to turn it so it is blowing on the memory. Seems to do a pretty good job. During Prime95 testing never saw over 48 C.

Other Thoughts: See my earlier review "Works Great". I have 8GB of memory, not 16...that was a typo.

3 out of 5 eggsASRock 760GM-GS3 AM3 AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: I got the motherboard for the price for the kids

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Everything works great! Using on-board video, AMD Athlon II X2 270 Regor 3.4 GHz CPU, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 Memory, Two 250 GB SATA II Hard Drives RAID 0, IDE ATA 100 WD 80 GB Hard Drive for Win7 System Files as Master and DVD Optical drive as slave. Memory is running at DDR3 1600 even though the Athlon II is supposed to run at only DDR3 1333. Windows 7 installed everything but the LAN and Video drivers.

Cons: You will need a long floppy cable if you use a floppy drive.

Other Thoughts: Now all I need to do is figure out how to overclock it :). Also, I really wonder about people who say it is DOA 2 and 3 times and still think it is not something they are doing wrong. I had no trouble setting this up, very easy!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Pleased

Pros: Everything works

Cons: None, Really

Other Thoughts: Built out two computers for my kids using these motherboards. Builds went smoothly, and they have been running just fine. The kids only play flash games on the web and some educational games from DVD. The on-board video handles it just fine.

2 out of 5 eggsloved it till it quit

Pros: loved it for the last year. was a great performer relative to the price.

Cons: like most people on here mine started freezing and restarted and then wouldnt come on at all. it is now a dead duck. i expect more than a year out of a motherboard. I believe Asrock should do the right thing and recall these. it would be nice for them to admit that the failure rate on these boards is extremely outside of the acceptable range and that its a faulty product. I am tempted to stay away from asrock from now on.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Awesome board. This has came with my cyber power gua3800f and its great. And don't read the 3 or 1 egg reviews there just spammers. If you making a pc and you don't want to spend a lot then this is your board. Overall I love this board.

Cons: Can only hold one Video card. But that's fine

Other Thoughts: Can maybe not have a serial port and more back usb ports then it will be better.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome little mobo.

Pros: This Motherboard fits into any case I've used. It works great and allows overclock. If you looking for a gaming pc but have a small case this is perfect for you especially at the price.

Cons: None. I would say how small it is, but since ASRock has the extreme3 the size is perfect.

1 out of 5 eggsASrock

Pros: Had all of the features I wanted.

Cons: Had board less than 4 months. Everything started going wrong. Finally quit completly. Had to buy new board different brand.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear AsRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Sorry to hear that the mainboard has malfunction after 4 months of use which’s due to nature of electronic product, it can happen. Please trouble shooting the mainboard for below steps with known good components; remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside. Place the mainboard on empty mainboard box, clear the CMOS, reseat the CPU with heatsink fan as well, inserts 1 memory module only in A1 slot, Onboard Video, power supply with connecting 24 pins + 4 pins ATX power to the mainboard, plug the computer case’s power switch to mainboard's front panel header and try again. If still having same issues please contact our tech support at http://www.asrock.com/support/tsd.asp. We can assist you shortly.

Thank you

4 out of 5 eggsgood for the cost

Pros: Really good for the cost.

Cons: It is cheaper for a reason. It is very restricting in the way of what processor and video card you can pick. I do not use sound cards, but I'd assume you'd run into the same problem.
