Castaway 1/28/2011 10:10:57 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5ASROCK Pros: I was very sceptical when buying this board,been waiting for EVGA to come out with there P67 boards but decided to try this out and I am very pleased..It has no glitzy lights on it but it has everything else..18 phase power,an extra power plug on the board for extra power for PCI-E. Hooked it all up with a 2600K and updated the bios first thing and bam 5GHZ with no problems at all..ASROCK is not a bad word,they are #3 in building MBs..I will deffinatly buy again this is a beast of a board.. Also people say you need APPROVED P67 memory..NO YOU DON'T I used the memory from my P55 board and it is just fine.. Cons: NONE Other Thoughts: ASROCK it one of the best built boards I have ever seen..You cannot go wrong.. NewEgg did a good job with getting this board to me..5EGGS Did you find this review helpful? I just want to comment that this board has the Floppy Disk connection which you dont see on hardly any boards these days. Let me say this is not something i use on a regular but i dont believe it should be just taken off the boards these days. The floppy is still the easiest way to add drivers to your installs of the OS. In so many little ways this so called outdated tool beats USB and CD drives for driver install, updates, etc etc. Its what sold me on the board over the others like A*S which i have used mostly over the years. Asrock is now a separate company from A*S Cons:* None, No regrets Other Thoughts: some question about pci 1X slot above top pci-e slot for a discrete audio board. I removed heat shield held in place by only some type of cheap adhesive. My creative fatility titanium card is in place and working. It rest close to cooling fins but is fully functional.
