ASRock H67M (B3) LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: arrived on time

Cons: Received board wouldn't POST. Spent the next month replacing/returning various parts with no luck. The replacement board was also dead. Finally returned for a refund, and am buying an Intel board. Newegg customer service was great about the return, despite it being beyond the 30 day window.

Other Thoughts: Customers shouldn't be acting as ASRock quality testing team. 2 dead boards to the same customer?

ASRock tech support was responsive, and offered to replace the board via RMA. I just can't be bothered again.

Pros: Got this board about a year ago (from Newegg) for my home server, just recently repurposed it as my new workstation. Can't believe how fast it flies through the BIOS! With my SSD I have Windows 7 Pro (64) booting to the login prompt in about 15 seconds! It takes my Gigabyte boards that long just to clear BIOS!

Cons: No cons so far, except it only has two DIMM slots. That's typically what you get with a small board, though.

Other Thoughts: I think I'm going to start getting ASRock boards from now on.

Pros: worked for a year

Cons: dead as a doornail, just after the 1-year warranty expired

Other Thoughts: computer suddenly crashed, wouldn't power back up, not even a pc speaker chip, only fans would spin. I didn't have another 1155 mobo to test with, so I brought it to a nearby computer store. They confirmed the motherboard is dead, are replacing it.

Pros: - painless install
- nice new shiny BIOS
- rock solid stable
- loaded with features for a nice price

Cons: - coax s/pdif would have been nice

Other Thoughts: This is my second ASRock board and both are solid.

Reliable, fast & cheap... can't really complain.

Used to use ASUS because of reputation but I think they've gone down hill over the last couple of years. Lots of DOA and problems with them. These ASRock boards have been a nice replacement.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: I used memory and CPU that were on the ASRock supported list, but the motherboard never posted, it was DOA. I'm not about to give ASRock another chance after reading all the DOA reports here. I bought a Giga Z68... board which worked on the first try, with all the same parts.

Pros: Cheap, lots of useful features.

Cons: Worked fine for three days then just wouldn't post or even say good-morning. Had to switch it out with the previous mobo I was upgrading from for the time being.

Other Thoughts: Took a chance in spite of some bad reviews and it didn't work out. Quality just doesn't seem to be what it used to be...maybe just a bad one...it happens. Newegg rocks though as they issued me a prepaid ups tag to send it back for a refund. I've done dozens of new builds over the years and never had a bad Asrock mobo until now. I am going with a different higher end ASrock board so we'll see if the new-new one can last at least maybe 4 or 5 days.

Pros: UEFI is quite nice, but needed an update out of the box. With a Crucial M4 SSD, boot time to desktop is 8 seconds!!!

VGA and DVI on board makes it easy to swap in pretty much any monitor.

More than enough USB ports for office use.

Cons: Nothing glaringly obvious

Other Thoughts: For the money, I didn't expect much. But I am impressed with the performance and ease of use thus far, and hope that the board will live a good long life in service of the church that it now lives in.

Pros: I have 2 of these motherboards and they both perform extremely well. The first motherboard was purchased a year ago for use in a HTPC. The second motherboard was purchased six months ago for use in a desktop system. I'm using a i3-2105 CPU and a i7-2600k CPU in the motherboards.

Cons: The first motherboard had to be returned because of the Intel
support chip problem (the board was recalled). It was promptly replaced by Newegg and I have had no problems since.

Pros: Good quality and nice features. Would make a great HTPC.

Cons: None

Pros: We shall see with the second one.

Cons: Come on ASRock!!! Did you hear about Quality Control Process. 30% of your motherboards are defective.

Other Thoughts: I should know better to go with Asus or Gigabyte but it looks so good on the paper.
