H67M-ITX/HT LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - Very stable, no bluescreens. Granted, with good ram (8GB)
- Audio is problem-free for a little over a year
- Decent UEFI bios. I give it a 3/5 compared to Asus' 5/5
- Plenty of ports and blacked-out I/O shield
- Great for its formfactor

Cons: - WiFi is poorly engineered and became unstable after 9 months of ownership. The signal started to intermittently die, causing frequent drops in connection.
- WiFi requires use of a ultra-cheap feeling antenna that looks like a paddle. I ended up buying a WiFi USB card with the antenna in the back with great results.

Other Thoughts: - I do not use the integrated video, no part of the rating reflects this component.
- Do not buy for the WiFi!
- This is an H67 chipset, so remember that by design it does not overclock. You're almost better off going with the newer Z68 chipset at this point.

Pros: Small nice features

Cons: DOA?

Other Thoughts: I had 2 of these and just didn't think it was likely I would get 2 DOAs. I spoke with tech and did the forums and the consensus was DOA so I rma'ed them. Yesterday my power button started acting up. I wonder if it has always been like that? Were the boards really DOA? Since it didn't occur to me nor was it suggested to "short" the 2 power button pins to see if the board would fire up I just don't know. The new h67m-itx is working fabulously...

Pros: I managed to build a small HTPC out of this. I'm fairly satisfied with operation. I've installed both Ubuntu Linux and the Windows 8 Preview successfully on a single HDD without problem.

Cons: The BIOS is geeky and I have yet to find some support info on the use of many of the features. I have found it is not able to control the CPU fan as purported.

Other Thoughts: I have doubts for anyone trying to fit a miniexpress card in it. But, I imagine that's a challenge for any ITX board. I also did successfully use the mobo spots for expanding USB ports. The BIOS works as delivered, and can't say what an update experience might be like.

Pros: pretty and decent cust support.

Cons: DOA

Other Thoughts: After speaking with Asrock tech support again I was informed that the Board speaker header is obsolete and doesn't work. If you want to hear post beeps you must plug in headphones to the GREEN output on the back pannel. Thought this should be in the manual or on line but it isn't. Good to know....

Other Thoughts: I wish this thing worked it has everything I wanted and a little more. I figured I'll give it a second chance and unfortunately it wasn't enough. I got through to Asrocks Tech support in under 2 minuets and the guy was great but, couldn't get it running. He was willing to take all my components and assemble them for me but I didnt want to let them out of my sight. Asrock was also willing to replace the board and asked very few questions though I did go into detail about what I tested. In short the best thing about this board is : nice people.

Future reference for trouble shooting the mainboard, remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside. You can place the mainboard on empty mainboard box, check the CPU socket pins are bent or missing then reseat the CPU to the CPU socket as well, inserts 1 memory module only with proper DRAM voltage that require with ram, clear CMOS and try again. Pros: Everything works like it should right out of the box (wireless card, WMC remote, etc.).

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I put this in an HEC SFF case with an i5-2400 processor, 4GB of 1333 Corsair RAM, and a Kingston 128GB SATA2 SSD, running Win7 Home Premium 64-bit. Setup was a breeze (and fast!) and so far the system is as stable as a rock.

Pros: Great Features packed on a small ITX board.

Cons: If you get a defective on that needs to be replaced, good luck. Two on-line RMA's and 2 phone calls and I still have not received my RMA in my e-mail. 2 weeks past now and I'm over it, they need to cross ship the new replacement or I'm calling my attorney

Other Thoughts: Sad to see Asus fall to this level of bad service. I run a business and I'm not going to recommend much less build any systems with Asus boards. Gigabyte has always honored their warranties and much faster. I can't even get an RMA number from these losers.
