1 out of 5 eggsDied before a year and a half

Pros: Worked while it lasted

Cons: Random reboots throughout it's life. Changed PSU to try to fix this and it still did it up until it died. ASRock refused to RMA at this issue. Then when I was playing GTA V it completely shutdown, now it's not even performing POST at all (Removing RAM with a speaker plugged in results in no beep codes.) I will not recommend ASRock as a brand anymore.

Other Thoughts: ASRock support distanced themselves from any and all responsibility of this product's defects. For that reason I'm giving them a poor rating. I know that this is probably just a dud board, but I wouldn't be in this boat if ASRock RMA'd this board when I was having the initial issue.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine

Pros: I've had this board for a year and five months now. It's worked just fine since day one and the only problem I've had was that I broke off one of the little tabs that hold a card in an x16 slot, but really that's more a problem with me fiddling around inside the case while drunk than a defect or design fault.

Cons: Fan connector placement is less than ideal for my case.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Motherboard, not great

Pros: Pros:
This motherboard, for the price, is amazing. It has had no problems until after the 1 year of use mark

Cons: Cons: This motherboard lasted about a year for me. Recently, I've had to replace my BIOS battery a second time. In a 1 year period you shouldn't have to change it once. My friend had had computers for over 10 years, and he hasn't had to change any BIOS battery ONCE. This motherboard is also a suspect in my almost hourly PC crashes.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard!

Pros: Very fast boot-time. It's practically perfect.

Cons: First starting the motherboard in my new build it went into BIOS "VERY" slowly but recovered and started perfectly after.

SATA port placement is weird.

Other Thoughts: Get this motherboard. It's very worth it. Even though some may not trust ASRock, it's more reliable than my previous ASUS.

Trust me, this is fantastic.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for a while

Pros: The motherboard was cheap when i got it. i bought it for $85.00 which was a good deal. It has 4 fan headers and 2 cpu fan headers which is more than most AM3+ mobos. but now getting into the cons because this past year and half with this mobo is scary.

Cons: The motherboard first month i used it had failing usb ports. Which didn't either fully power peripherals or didnt even work. so i have 2 broken usb ports and the rest are really weak its unable to power for example a USB wireless adapter and charged any phone really slowly. I did contact Asrock. i lost the email i sent them but they never replied to me when i filed for a replacement. Which has left me with a bad impression with asrock. i dont think i am going to buy another motherboard from them unless it gets well known for being a really good motherboard. another problem was with the bios. the sensors for the cpu temps were off by quite a lot and it doesnt detect all my drives so i was unable to select what drive i wanted it to boot up. i had to wait and press F11 and select it manually. i also really wish that it had USB 3.0 but that is understandable because it was made when USB 3.0 wasn't on every case and the last thing is that this board is really fragile, has a lot of flex. Then the placement of the slots is farther back away so it makes you to either not full make contact with the pins or bend the front of the graphics card so you can be able to screw it in.

Other Thoughts: i wouldnt pay more than 90 for this motherboard. good thing i didn't.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT BOARD

Pros: Stable. Fast. No issues at all. I ran with a 6-core 3.5 cpu and the board has treated me very well. Easy to setup and use. I have had it for a year now. I just bought another and hope to enjoy the same benefits as the first one.

Cons: None after a year of use.

2 out of 5 eggsweak mosfets

Pros: did quite well for the price, what time i had it.

Cons: was clearly meant to have air blown directly on the vrm heat sink from stock air cooler.

Other Thoughts: I installed a water cooler to replace my 8350 stock cooler (which was louder than all my case fans.) did well for a couple of days until one day i smelled something burning. My computer died shortly after. tried a reboot just to see something flair out in my case. After inspection and research, I found out it was one of the mosfets under the rather small heatsink next to the CPU. have had this just over a year and the warranty has expired. will probably get a tougher mobo as a replacement. next time ill pay more attention to build quality rather than base price. It's an okay Mobo, just dont do anything fancy without understaning the risk.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: Looks to have all the best features of other motherboards but do not be fooled! Good features are great when they work, and they do not work on this motherboard

Cons: I am honestly very surprised New Egg still sells this junk! This motherboard did not work right from the first day, it took me until now to finally pin point the source of all my problems. I should have returned this thing as soon as I got it. My system is was unstable with this board, exhibited random freezes and reboots. This board rebooted so much that it caused a failed HDD. All user input from USB randomly freezes, sometimes my processor sits idling at 50%. I determined it was not my OS causing these problems as I installed Win 7 multiple times cleanly and finally recently installed Win 8. I also ruled out the HDD by trying different drives and now have a nice SSD installed. I am very unhappy with ASRock and will absolutely never buy from them again! Get something good like ASUS, do not waste your time and money on ASRock!
