Administrators are able to schedule the starting and ending hours of internet access granted to other users. Normally, ISPs (Internet Service Provider) will charge for internet curfew service. The service controls “all” the PCs connected at home through network remotely but all the PCs in that network will be restricted to access the internet at pre-setup times. However, ASRock OMG is a free tool for controlling internet access of each single PC. Parents can easily control internet access through BIOS setup to protect their kids from using Internet at inappropriate time, and meanwhile, enjoy their own internet space.

4 out of 5 eggsNice board, Hate Crapware

Pros: Easy to work with, like the UEFI instead of BIOS. I had no problems with the layout and everything posted on the first try.

Cons: I took one egg off because I made the mistake of selecting "install all" (recommended) on the driver disk that came with the board. This of course installed a pile of crapware I didn't want... Thank goodness for pcdecrapifier.com!

5 out of 5 eggsI've got 5 running great

Pros: These are the best bang for the buck.

Cons: frontside usb does not seem to push as much power as the rear, but this is common (for some reason)

Other Thoughts: I have built five computers with these and they pur like a kitten.

I'm not afraid of this brand anymore.
This is a quality board with many features.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board!

Pros: AHCI support in BIOS enables my SSD to run at optimal speed
Has the newest "3s":
USB 3
PCIx16 v3
SATA 3
PS/2 keyboard port for true mechanical keyboards
On board RAID support was a plus because I want to pair my current SSD with another in RAID 0
Supports 16 gigs of RAM - More is always better but to be honest 8 is all you need even if you are a serious gamer so 16 is awesome and allows you to pair Dual Channel DIMMs.
Full CD of software and utilities - they did not cut corners here
Full voltage control and many other advanced settings available in BIOS
Great price for an upgrade board - I already had an LGA Intel processor that I moved from my old board to this one.
Not bad for a small form factor, power packed gaming box.

Cons: No cons so far

5 out of 5 eggsThe most cost-effective buy storewide

Pros: It comes with all the whistles: VGA/DVI/HDMI, then USB3, SATA6, Optical audio with THX sound.
All thanks to the newest Intel chipset for households.

Great craftmanship.

Cons: It is not free.

Other Thoughts: My first AsRock and very happy with it (my previous were Asus, Gigabyte, Foxconn, ECS).

Nice UEFI BIOS GUI (this is my first contact with UEFI).

At first boot, My DDR3-1600 chips were recognized as 1333. One click here and one click there and voila! fixed.

Not a single glitch. Everything were smoooth since the first boot.

Love you AsRock!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: ASRock rocks! This MB (and one of its older cousins that I built two systems based on) works really well. Very reliable when paired with a good 2nd or 3rd generation i5. Being able to monitor CPU/MB heat real time in Windows is great.

Cons: Would like to have seen this MB at the same price with four ram slots but with the availability of 8GB/16GB/32GB paired sticks at relatively low prices (G.Skill is awesome for this), I'm just being picky.

Other Thoughts: Used ASRock for three Windows 7 systems and had no issues with any drivers. On initial install, had to run ASRocks driver installations (included on a disk) to get networking, USB 3.0, chipset, etc to recognize properly but once (easily) installed, this MB runs soldily. Would recommend the extreme tuner for monitoring temps in real time (in case you run programs with high CPU usage for long periods) to make sure you are not going to overheat your processor. Rock-solid for each of my builds.

5 out of 5 eggsGood SOHO build MB

Pros: Wanted a SOHO build with PCI-e 3 support for graphics. This filled the bill at a reasonable cost.

Cons: Only one very minor gripe. I installed Corsair 1600 RAM and the BIOS set it to 1333. Went into the BIOS and set it to 1600 and ran MEMTEST 86+ for 24 hours at 1600 without issue, but wish the BIOS would have set it at 1600 automatically.

Other Thoughts: This HOSO build:
i5-3550P CPU, Zalman CNPS9500AT Cooler, ASRock H77M MB, Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600 CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9B MB, Seagate STBD2000101 HDD, XFX Radeon FX-775A-ZNP4 graphics, Samsung BD-reader/DVDRW, OCZ 600W PS, in a minitower case.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat deal

Pros: Overall it's a great deal on a solid board. Plenty of features to overclock if that's what you want, too. The manual is very clear about pointing out the connections and the BIOS is extremely user-friendly.

Cons: The box only came with the board, 2 SATA cables, the manual, and a driver disk. If you needed extra screws you'd be out of luck. While most people have plenty of screws on hand, it's always nice to have a few extra tossed in for good measure.

Other Thoughts: The onboard video did not work via HDMI on a fresh install of Windows 8 until I updated the drivers. I'm not calling this a con, but it definitely was an unpleasant surprise. I was first worried that the board was bad. Plugging in a VGA cable made it work just fine, so I was able to install Win8 and had no problems after that, it just caught me off guard.

1 out of 5 eggsmalarkey

Pros: - cheap

Cons: Memory Support List [ http://www.asrock.com/mb/memory.asp?Model=H77M ]

While it might be argued that most 'common' RAM is supported be aware that not all RAM is supported / tested. I've built many-a-machine and this is the first time I've been bitten by an incompatibility like this. It WILL NOT BOOT with RAM that is not in their support list.

Other Thoughts: Sending it back. I won't be buying another ASRock product.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Mainboard supports most of the memory on the market. However, we recommend to using mainboard’s memory support list which's been tested in our lab to do the best to provide information to users. Unfortunately, we're unable to test all memory selling on the market due to new models have released often from memory manufacturers. As always, we appreciate your purchase and constructive reviews are welcome.

Thank you

1 out of 5 eggs2 defective H77 mobos

Pros: -cheap
-Has good driver support
-low power usage

Cons: My first H77 died after 2 weeks of use. After sending it back to NewEgg and getting a replacement that was DOA I went with a refund. Serious quality issues with some of these boards, maybe I just got two lemons, but I wasn't going to try a third board to test that theory...

Other Thoughts: I ended up going with an Intel BOXDH77EB mobo which works great. I haven't had any issues with it.

I would highly recommend staying away from the H77 AsRock Mobo

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. ASRock mainboards are fully tested to assure that they're working before shipped. Unfortunately, due to nature of electronic product, it can happen.
For the future reference, pre-trouble shooting can be done by below steps with known good components;
Remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside. Place the mainboard on top of the empty mainboard’s box
Clear the CMOS
Check the mainboard’s CPU socket pins should not be bent
Test with 1 memory module (non-ECC, un-buffered), try with another known good memory if its same issue.
Using onboard Video (CPU with iGPU supported or test with VGA card)
Power supply with connecting 24 pins + 8 or 4 pins ATX power to the mainboard
Plug the computer case’s power switch to mainboard's front panel power header and try again.
As always, we appreciate your purchase and constructive reviews are welcome.

Thank you
