The service controls “all” the PCs connected at home through network remotely but all the PCs in that network will be restricted to access the internet at pre-setup times. However, ASRock OMG is a free tool for controlling internet access of each single PC. Parents can easily control internet access through BIOS setup to protect their kids from using Internet at inappropriate time, and meanwhile, enjoy their own internet space.

1 out of 5 eggsBreaks constantly

Pros: Was cheap at the time of purchase with nice features.

Cons: Worked fine for a year, and then it started breaking every month. This is absolutely ridiculous and I refuse to pay for any more shipping charges. In all honesty I just wish they would let me trade it in for a different motherboard.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsMy new favorite

Pros: Lots of features for the money. Solid performance. Easy bios upgrade. Easy driver install.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Download and install the latest drivers from Asrock's website and only install the drivers you need. Avoid the bloatware problem. I've been using the other motherboard manufacture that starts with an A, but I've had 2 fail just out of warranty. This is my second time I've used this brand and I've not had any issues yet. Only time will tell about its durability.

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems

Pros: - works great, no problems.
- manual does a great job at explaining where the specific pins go (not marked too well on physical the motherboard)
- bios is easy and well layed out.

Cons: when connecting the power button i noticed the pins were poorly marked, but well marked in the manual

Other Thoughts: I built a computer with this mother board for my mother and she has had absolutely no problems with it. she uses it for about 12 hours a day (work computer) with no odd hard ware errors. Its a little over kill for a work computer but she constantly tells me that she lovers her computer and how fast it is, so i have no reasons to dock any eggs.

I personally through a i5 3450 in with it and a SSD because my mother complains about ANY slowness in a computer. So i went over board in building this one. Its FAST with this mother board.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mother Board

Pros: USB 3.0 i/o's

Cons: The instructions weren't very good (not detailed and not step by step). Having never built a computer before, I could have used more guidance and ended up google'ing a few things to make sure I was doing it properly (how to connect my power supply - which had two 12 pin connectors and no 24 pin connector. Found I could safely connect the two 12 pin connectors to the 24 pin input)

5 out of 5 eggsgreat board, great price

Pros: This board has been a breeze. Installed easily. Has my ram at 2133 without problems. The i3-3225 delivers impressive integrated graphics. WEI 6.5. The onboard raid works great. Two agility 3's pump out 1000 Mb/s in raid 0. I recommend this mobo. Title says it all.

Cons: None to speak of to date.

Other Thoughts: You won't be disappointed

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent price.
4 USB3 connectors on the back, w/ a 3.0 header.
BIOS menu is extremely nice and works well with intel processor features. Flashing was easy, and there's an 'instant flash' feature which was nice.

Cons: TERRIBLE drivers and utilities. Attempts to modify drivers caused serious instability. There's a lot of bloatware that'll be installed automatically that will 'break' your OS if uninstalled. With this bloatware comes features that can hinder performance yet can't be turned off.
For example, installing the tuner to monitor temperatures will also install a virtual-ram program that can't be turned off. Yet, uninstalling this program caused my computer to freeze every 5 seconds.
Drivers aren't properly labeled and it takes outside research to figure out what they are.
Oh, and they seriously try to install Norton on your computer with a driver install. That's like a virus in itself.

Other Thoughts: Drivers don't have instructions, either.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The mainboard drivers CD disc can be installed by optional for drivers, utilities and applications unless choose to install all. Thank you for purchase and review. If you have any technical questions or warranty issues in the future please contact us at http://www.ASRock.com/support/tsd.asp. We can assist you shortly.

Thank you

4 out of 5 eggsASRock Z77 Pro4-M

Pros: Install was a breeze and post was lightning fast. Plenty of Sata connections for all of my drives. Ports on the back are spaced well; it's as if somebody actually thought about what they'd be plugging in and how much room those would take, then after planning it out, designed the backplate on this board.

Cons: A little difficult to figure out what case mods plugged in where on the board because nothing is labeled and the instructions were very vague.

Other Thoughts: Great board for the price. Mouse compatible Bios is a major plus.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board for a small build!

Pros: Nice options, boots fast, has all the right stuff for a small gamer build.

Cons: One small issue that I thankfully knew about from another build with this board. The RAM is pretty close to the processor, so if you're putting ram in that has a large heatsink, you may want to get a closed-loop water cooler. The Hyper 212 barely fits, an some others won't at all. The Corsair H60 works great though.

Other Thoughts: Dropped an i7-3770k, 16GB Ripjaws G-Skill Ram, and a GTX-670 onto it. It fired up the first time with no issues and detected everything just fine.

1 out of 5 eggsUnlucky

Pros: Loving everything about this motherboard... but...

Cons: ...my motherboard's audio is broken. Maybe a bad audio jack. When the PC goes through POST there is a persistent "white noise" coming out through the speakers. It's not even in Windows yet so this is not an operating system issue. Did a load of troubleshooting. Flashed latest BIOS version available. Checked and reseated components (CPU, memory, graphics). Cycled through each memory stick one at a time using A1 slot. Reset CMOS. Noticed with headphones plugged into front panel the white noise is heard as well. Unplugged front panel audio header from case. Swapped audio cables. Used different speakers. Removed power supply from motherboard for a minute to discharge. Problem still persists. Disabled audio in BIOS and white noise is still heard even though disabled! Troubleshooted Windows anyways for the hell of it. Uninstalled Realtek drivers & rebooted (default Microsoft HD audio drivers installed). Still white noise. Reinstalled Realtek drivers. Tried drivers on included CD and also downloaded drivers through Asrock's website. Still white noise. Installed fresh Windows 8 Pro 64-bit on a separate drive. Problem still persists. When sound tests are done, faint audible crackling noise is heard. Couldn't find anyone else with a problem exactly like mines. Just ... unlucky I guess.

Other Thoughts: Other than the audio problem, the motherboard works just fine! LOL ... fast boots, rock solid and stable, no errors or blue screens, Windows thinks my audio is working just fine. I'd give this 5 eggs if not for the audio troubles but I probably got a dud this time. Will RMA this m/b back and get another one. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and calling this incident a fluke.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsFull Featured w/ Zero Problems

Pros: - mATX form factor
- Plentiful onboard SATA ports (four 6Gb/s and four 3Gb/s)
- Wide-ranging support for different RAM speeds
- Many options for overclocking

Cons: - HD audio header is right next to the PCI 3.0 16x port, which makes me wonder if a graphics card will block it.
- The right-angle SATA cable the board comes with was difficult to make work in my situation. Not a biggie.
- Orientation of the onboard SATA3 ports can make for awkward cabling.
- Driver disc was not compatible with Windows8 64-bit. I had to download everything from ASRock's website

Other Thoughts: I'm using this board to replace my ancient Pentium 4 office rig. The form factor worked with my idea of making a small and quiet box, but also one capable of packing a performance punch. The good assortment of expansion ports also helped to make this one the winner in my decision as I'll be adding a graphics card later. Still 5-eggs, because everything works and no compromises needed to be made (so far).
