1 out of 5 eggsDied after 8 months

Pros: Supports Wake on Lan
Good Fan control

Cons: Died after 8 months. First and last time I am buying Asrock.
My first choice was Asus then Gigabyte. But I needed specific features only this board has. Big mistake, it didn't last at all. Worse thing you spend so much time troubleshooting. It just not worth it.

Had some weird reboot/reset issues. Decided to flash a new BIOS version. The board died, I thought must be a bad flash.

Spent another $20 to get a new BIOS. First time it booted to the BIOS fine. Then it hang...then it died again. Now I know it's not the BIOS, but the actual motherboard.

This is after I have removed everything but kept the essentials trying to get the PC to post.

Time spent about 20 hours trying to fix this. Worse thing, I searched this and so many people have issue with Asrock.

Other Thoughts: As of 20 minutes ago I just bought a Gigabyte.

4 out of 5 eggsimpressive board!

Pros: -Overclocks Well with Sandy bridge processors
-Runs Linux incredibly well!
-built-in wireless
-built-in audio is decent
-mSata under board

Cons: -hard to install some AIO W/Cing units, minor con
-Will BSoD under windows until drivers are installed
-has sleeping issues
-no buzzer
-the gold on it could bother some, but for practical builders it doesn't matter.

Other Thoughts: This board runs my overclocked 2500k @ 4.6 quite nicely. Even if the Antec Kuhler h2o 620 backplate had to take some modification to fit on.
This board from my experience also runs better under Linux than Windows, and for those wanting to use Linux, Linux mint 13 will work out of the box (assuming your not using a graphics card).
the mSata is only Sata II, so use it for a cache SSD or something, because you'd be better off using the Sata III ports for your boot drive.
The sleeping issues mostly occured under windows, but if you're not going to be using the sleep mode this board will do well!

overall, this board is incredible, might have a few quirks here and there, but I love it!

4 out of 5 eggsThe do everything Micro ITX motherboard, but no beeper ?!?

Pros: Has everything, USB3.0, SATA III, PCIe 3.0, PCIe mini for wireless, display port, HDMI, eSata, Optical audio, put this in one of those micro ITX cases that takes a full PSU and video card and you have a Powerful, Portable gaming computer, drop an SSD on it and everything just gets better, this is a tiny titan and for a good price

Cons: Didnt care for the antenna, ended up just salvaging a standard antenna from one of my old routers, wiring it was a bit of a pain, some of the plugs were in unusual places, but i expect that has to do with how much they had to fit on such a small area, only 2 fan plugs on the mobo, it came with a mobo chearper, but I could not find anywhere to put it, so if you need to troubleshoot the board it will be significantly harder (this is actually my biggest con)

Other Thoughts: I replaced the wireless card so that i can connect my 5GHz wireless, no big deal, most dont support 5GHz wireless anyways, but the replacement card worked just fine, CPU was quite low on the board compared to most micro ITX boards i have used, but that didnt cause any notable issues

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: It looks good.

Cons: I'm sad and irritated to say I've had nothing but problems from the board since I received it over a year ago. This board is so far-gone I cannot get it to post and get into BiOs so I can flash the BiOs to the latest version in attempt to fix it. Just a black screen and three or four restarts then it seems to just give up and sit there with the power led on and no video. I recently purchased a kit from Newegg that had an Asus motherboard to replace this failure and it has been absolutely great, at HALF the price of this one to boot!

Other Thoughts: I was a first time and now last time customer of ASRock and I am extremely disappointed. This board has been out performed in every single category, especially reliability, by a board that was not even half the price. I would be ok with the less than stellar POST times, etc. if the thing at least worked right, but after a little over a year it won't even POST. I recommend anyone looking for a motherboard in any form factor to go look at Asus boards, I could not be happier with mine.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Sorry to hear that the mainboard has malfunctioned after 1 year which’s due to nature of electronic product, it can happen.
Please trouble shooting the mainboard for below steps with known good components;
Turn the power off.
Remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside, place the mainboard on top of the empty mainboard’s box
Clear the CMOS
Reseat the CPU and heatsink fan as well
Test with single memory module (non-ECC, un-buffered), try with another known good memory if its same issue.
Plug monitor to onboard VGA (CPU with iGPU supported or test with VGA card)
Plug the 24 pins + 8 or 4 pins ATX power to the mainboard
Plug the computer case’s power switch to mainboard's front panel power header and try again

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Overclocks EXTREMELY well!
VRM's stay cool!
Nothing dead on the board
Good Bios support
UEFI bios seem to be well developed

Cons: Ive heard some people have had issues with the new bios updates, although I havent.

Other Thoughts: Running my i5-2500k @ 4.5GHz @ 1.308V. Easily overclocks better than my older P67 MSI board.

5 out of 5 eggsLittle Board, Big Smiles

Pros: For the small board that it is, it delivers quite the computing power. I bought it with a i7-3770 chip, and it delivered everything I wanted in it. It has the video slot to handle the higher end cards, the Wifi/Lan onboard to handle the networking need. Even has a built-in video in case you are hesitant to get the big card. Installation was quick and easy. It is also very capable of overclocking if you so desire. The software has live monitoring to help you decide what works best for you.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: well, I did have some trouble snaping the memory in place, but that was me not wanting to break anything. I really like having wireless onboard, wish they would do this more commonly.

1 out of 5 eggsI Defrauded/RMA declined

Pros: None whatsoever

Cons: I returned said item because there was a one pin slightly bent out of shape and rather than risking frying my cpu I called newegg and informed them about the situation. Reading the fine print I informed about the pin and told them the sitaution and they assured me that they would still take it in. I just got an E-mail saying my RMA was declined because of the bent pin and there being thermal paste on the board and signs of installation. Here is the kicker! I didn't have ANY thermal paste at hand to install my CPU and boot up the PC as soon as I noticed the pin I called in for a RMA. The Supervisor told me that they get nothing out of it from the manufacturer if that was the case. I shouldve been wary when i noticed one of the edges on the box was ripped. Great Way for Newegg on losing a customer, by calling them a liar. Good for me because I took close to TWO dozen pictures of my motherboard prior to sending it out to prove their accusations regarding the thermal paste as false and baseless. This matter will get resolved one way or another but I assure you that I will be a thorn until then.

1 out of 5 eggsTo ASRock

Pros: Good board with good features

Cons: Died 3 times in 6 months

Other Thoughts: Hello ASRock. Before I begin, I will say that I have bought many of your products and I have been happy with most of them. What I am not happy about, however, is the level of customer service I have been receiving when I need it. I have a motherboard that has died 3 times in the past 6 months and I have been in correspondence with your support team throughout the ordeal.

At this point I have given up on receiving adequate support from them and will now attempt to elevate my problem. I have attempted multiple times to do this through your customer support representative and have been flat out ignored. I would like to think that I have been more than patient and reasonable with them until this point.

Since buying your Z77E-ITX motherboard, I believe it has spent almost as much time broken and in transit than it has spent in good working order. Suffice it to say that I would like a refund, or at least a replacement that works. This board (or at least the replacement/refurbished/repaired units that I have been getting) obviously does not.

It would not be so bad if your support team attempted to understand and resolve my problems, but I have repeatedly asked questions only to be flat out ignored. If you would like copies of my correspondence with them I will be happy to oblige you.

I begin by posting here. Hopefully someone from your company will reply and attempt to address my issues. I will also be sending letters to attempt to get my problem resolved. I use many of your products and hope to do so in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsASRock rocked it with this board

Pros: EVERYTHING!

Cons: I feel dumb for not checking but all my fans have 3 pin connectors and this board has only 1 4 pin connector. I purchased a molex to 4 3 pin connectors for 3 dollars. Not really a con on a mini ITX board.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is so awesome. I was chomping at the bit to get my mobo because I already had the case and CPU. It arrived fast for the cheepest shipping option available FREE! I think it only took 2 days. <3
