5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: First time buying a board from AsRock and it won't be my last. In fact, i bought 2 of these boards for mine and my wifes build and was very impresed with them. Posted right out of the box and has been superb since. I liked these boards enough to buy and intel based board for another build from AsRock with no regrets. Great job AsRock!

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: Very Impressed with the boards and they come with some great software features to. The UEFI bios is just a great touch to the evolving technology world. I will be purchasing from AsRock in the future.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Board

Pros: Easy Setup, VirtuMVP, USB 3.0, Debug, power and reset on board.

Cons: One egg off because there's no header for front USB 3.0. Also FM1 is outdated even though I love my A6 APU.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as an upgrade for my Biostar A55MH MicroATX board. I love it but it will probably be leaving soon to make way for an AM3+ board and FX-8150. It will probably still stay in my living room as part of a media PC.

5 out of 5 eggsBest ULFI BIOS settings display

Pros: BIOS DISPLAY is very User friendly. Graphical click with mouse
on well defined options. Easy to O.C. with little knowledge.
I enjoy the utility: ASRock Instant Boot.

Cons: Install CD auto ran & started to install all the utilities.
I just want to look at those options not install.
I stopped the auto install and the
result was no boot to OS. Fortunately, I had created a full
backup on second drive & restored to pre-utility install
mistake.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear AsRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. AsRock mainboards are fully tested to assure that they're working before shipped. Unfortunately, due to nature of electronic product, it can happen.
For the future reference, pre-trouble shooting can be done by below steps with known good components;
Remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside. Place the mainboard on top of the empty mainboard's box
Clear the CMOS
Reseat the CPU and heatsink fan as well
Test with 1 memory module
Using onboard Video (plug the monitor)
Power supply with connecting 24 pins + 8 or 4 pins ATX power to the mainboard
Plug the computer case’s power switch to mainboard's front panel power header and try again
If you have any technical questions please contact us at http://www.asrock.com/support/tsd.asp. We can assist you shortly.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mother Board fro Llano APU

Pros: This was the perfect motherboard for under $100, paired it with an A8-3870K with 16GB G.Skill Sniper Series (PC3-14900) 1866 RAM & +2400Mhz capable. I also set up the dual graphics with an ATI HD 6670 discrete GPU w/Lucidlogix software that was included (Lucid Virtu Universal MVP) makes for excellent game play even on med-high settings. Had an issue with USB 3.0 Driver as I installed Mobo drivers from Mfg. site as those typically have more recent drivers than the included CD. Calling tech support was a breeze, no long wait, transferred right away and the tech took time to answer all my questions, this is how C.S./T.S. should always be. You get a few extra's which some call bloatware, but it's only bloatware if you install it, (XFast LAN, USB and Instaboot) and don't use it. I'm please with my purchase and I'm glad I went with ASRock versus another Mfg.

Cons: None really, would have been nice if this board had included a USB 3.0 header, but there are plenty of pci slots and you can always pigtail to the 4 located on the back.

Other Thoughts: Overclocking is really easy with ASRock Extreme included software and through UEFI Bios is night and day from old school bios

3 out of 5 eggsasrock fm1 amd motherboard

Pros: The fm board reminds me of old 98 series its very slow you do good to open 1 program at a time and freezes a lot. The teck at asrock said well load windows 8 it might help the performance.

Cons: I will never buy asrock junk again this board ran good was slow for 6 months had a lot of errors but seemed to fix them all as they apeared was running windows vista 64 bit.

Other Thoughts: Well I liked the features on ASRock Z77 Extreme11 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 and G.SKILL Trident X Series 32 GB I also ordered Intel Core i7 a sweet system I thought but after this experience I sent the combo back can send anyone my invoices if they request I don't feel like asrock is all its made up to be I ordered msi and never been more pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat motherboard

Pros: I bought this board in combination with some GSkill Sniper 1866 RAM and an A8-3780K with the intent to overclock it slightly and this board makes it really easy. RAM was initially clocked at 1600 but was really easy to change to 1866 and changing the voltages and CPU multiplier.

Cons: Not really any, though the face plate that goes over the VGA and USB ports on the back seems a little cheap.

Other Thoughts: Good motherboard for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value build

Pros: Love all the slots on this board, plenty of room for expansion if needed. Combined this with a nice AMD APU chip and 16 GB of memory, it just screams. BIOS is easy to navigate and I got RAID-0 set up without much hassle. RAID-1 and RAID-10 also offered if wanted. Basically, it does what you want out of it.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: Build:

5 out of 5 eggsReplaced TA75A+

Pros: 1. Lucid Virtu MVP
2. 2 x16 slots

Cons: 1. FM1 outdated now, no upgrade path for Piledriver

Other Thoughts: I bought a TA75A+ a few months ago, to late did I realize this Lucid Virtua MVP existed which is exactly what I need to stop my screen tearing. Even using Nvidia's Adaptive Vsync it still tears, I had to use d3doverrider with triple buffering and vsync to stop it. Limiting the frames with precision x didn't work either. Thus I am forced to buy this mobo solely for this feature, but I think it'll be worth it since I don't wanna update this computer for a LONG time. Anyways it's the only AMD mobo I've seen with Virtua MVP =/ Still I am fairly certain it will STOP tearing and let me have peace without resorting to d3doverrider which didn't work for me in Windows 8.
