5 out of 5 eggsGreat board!

Pros: Easy to use BIOS menu, easy to overclock CPUs, 3.0 usb and SATA6Gb/s, this has everything you need on a budget.

Cons: None, although I am having some difficulties figuring out on some of the BIOS menus. Will look into it further.

Other Thoughts: For the price, can't really complain. Easy to OC your cpu, it's well thought out. For beginners, this board is pretty self explanatory. It also has three ports for your fans! That's uncommon for a mini-ATX board. Plus USB 3.0 and SATA6, it has everything you need for the coming future in technology.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Combined with A4-5300 Trinity. I wanted to see how cheaply I could build HTPC. I like ASRock and this board works well.

Cons: Typically the onboard sound can't handle the Netflix streaming sound without pops, snorts and distortion at times. My old spare Audigy card fixed that issue. I forgot it didn't have HDMI but that's another $30 and I can live without it. I haven't tried OC other than RAM. Saw some reviews about frying the board so I not trying OC unless necessary.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy it again.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Price

Pros: The price is fantastic for what you're getting. SATA 6/Gbps and USB 3.0s. I started to realize that it has been at least 4 years since I ran a dual grahics card setup or needed more than 2 RAM slots, so I figured I'd try a micro ATX board. I think I like the look of a larger board better when it's in the case, but I'm not using a micro ATX case (I'm using the Fractal Define R4). I've never used an Asrock before. I've used DFI, MSI, ASUS, but not Asrock and I wanted to try them out. Anyone can make a killer $150 board (which Asrock does make as well) but not everyone can make a decent $55 board (that works) and I can't complain with the product they brought to the table at that price point.

Cons: Lost an egg because I thought the overclocking software could be a little better. It's not bad by any means, but it's not as good as ASUS'. And a lot of the special software features you probably won't use, to be honest.

The instructions aren't horrible, but again ASUS always has a lot of info in their instruction booklets, and the more info the better in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: This is the first mobo I've gotten a chance to use with UEFI Bios so I can't compare it to others', but other than being able to use the mouse and better graphics, it's not much more than a regular Bios -- not a negative, just a thought.

5 out of 5 eggsPrevious Review Mistake

Pros: Great board! In my previous review I said the CPU fan could only be set as low as 1. I overlooked the custom setting. With it you can have any speed you want. Putting in the number 50 in set this fan to 980 RPM, whereas setting 1 was a bit over 1200 RPM.

Cons: None! Doubt I'd ever want a different brand!

Other Thoughts: ASROCK Rocks!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mobo!

Pros: Pros, hmm... Well, there really isn't much to say other then it's a great motherboard. I got a 5600k in it running at 4.0ghz and it runs just fine. Built a rig for my parents and they don't complain whatsoever.

Cons: The BIOS like to fry CPU's. Not kill them, so don't be scared lol. It just tends to make them run really hot with the stock cooler. It's because of the UEFI bios, it's really nice, and that's the only downside really.

Other Thoughts: Great motherboard for a budget build tbh. I recommend it all the time!

5 out of 5 eggsMore Than The Sum Of It's Part

Pros: I bought this board for a new build for my wife, paired it with a Trinity A10-5800K and 8 gigs of Crucial Ballistix 1866 and an Intel Maple Crest 330 SSD and it flies. The wife is more than happy as it plays her casual games with high frame rates, boots in seconds not minutes, and is very responsive because of the 500+ MB/s transfer rates from the SSD. No issues with UEFI or Win7 whatsoever, no lock ups or crashes. My wife has a great new PC that meets or exceeds all her needs for about 4 1/2 bills. Happy wife equals a happy hubby lol

Cons: For this price... absolutely none. A great piece of kit for the money. Wonderful value.

Other Thoughts: A great mobo for the price of breakfast for four at IHOP.. are you kidding me... that's a great value.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Asrock Quality

Pros: High quality mobo. It has 2 sata cables, backplate, all the normal things in a well thought out mobo box. High quality and well thought out design won't leave u scrapping ur knuckles getting connectors in. I can't say enough to praise ASROCK!

Cons: Does NOT load directly into BIOS on start up. MUST press F2 key to do that. New bios is a little challanging if you are used to working with older version bios's but is managable.

Other Thoughts: Only 2 complaints with this mobo. It's bios is pretty old. Updates itself without complaint though. The REAL complaint is it does NOT automatically load into the bios on start up. You have press F2 key to access it. Needs changed, a novice builder will assume he has a bad mobo. Overall, I hope to get years of service from this ASROCK like my old puter's ASROCK mobo!! VERY DEPENDABLE!

3 out of 5 eggsNice Motherboard but

Pros: Easy to set up,

Cons: Dual amd graphic's is a little confusing. Tried to put gpu but it would not work. Does this board support crossfire or not.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

Thank you for your purchase and review. For the dual graphic, please visit mainboard’s manual under page 19 at link “ ftp://174.142.97.10/manual/FM2A75M-DGS.pdf “ for detail setting . It's also related to adopted CPU which refer to AMD' dual graphic. If you have any technical questions please contact us at http://www.ASRock.com/support/tsd.asp. We can assist you shortly.

Thank you

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Very low price
-6 SATA ports
-USB3
-Supports a wide variety of ram

Cons: Bios is a hassle, but with some fiddling not too big of a deal.

Trying to get windows 7 on the thing is a pain as it wants to boot from the hard drive at first so you have to set boot options in bios so that it will boot from the optical drive.

Other Thoughts: Over all, you get what you pay for and that is apparent with this board. If you are looking for a cheap board I would roll with this one. (just make sure it works the your CPU)
