Pros: Stable features of much higher priced boards great layout there tech support is incredible new egg rocks

Cons: onboard audio didn't work so called asrock guess what a tech picked up the phone walked me through issue dead onboard audio

Other Thoughts: newwegg rma a refund cause I purchased a new one for time constraints so newegg credited me the first got me the second in a day and it works great excellent product the lil son has come along way since asus owning them

Pros: It arrived in 4 days. The price is just right with the rebate.

This MB has a lot of features in the bios and on the board itself. If you're into overclocking it handles many tweaks. The bios is easy to navigate but I don't think I'll end up using everything in it. It performs as advertised.

Cons: The physical look isn't flashy. It'd be nice if the ram dimms were opposite colors of one another.

Other Thoughts: This is my 2nd board. I ordered the first one from another company and that was a mistake, it ended up being used, and the B channel did not work. Only slots A1 & A2 worked. I returned that and ordered from Newegg, which I should have done in the first place. I received a new board and all was well

Pros: Love the motherboard

Cons: I have the 2 HDMI ports; one for "in" and another that just says HDMI, neither of them are working, I tried trouble shooting a few things, I cant seem to get to the bottom of the situation. I don't know if I missed the drivers that needed to be installed or something but when I went into A-Tuning with the hardware overview it didn't show anything popping up when I plugged the connectors in like I does for everything else. Please help if any one can.

1 out of 5 eggsI DO NOT RECOMMEND. Two of these were defective for me. Support from ASRock is horrendous, if non-existent.

Pros: Plenty of features. Modernized and current. Plenty of utilities included on the CD if that's something that interests you.

Cons: I received my first Pro 4 from Newegg and it had two dead ram slots, channels A1 and A2, meaning I had to place my two RAM sticks in the 3rd and 4th slots- preventing me from running in Dual Channel.

I sent ASRock an email immediately and received a confirmation email within 24 hours. 4 weeks later and I have not received a single response. There is almost no way to find an 800 number on their site, and even when Newegg tech support provided me with the number, the automated system sounded cheap and foreign (no offense, but it was unprofessional sounding to listen to). Not only this, but when calling, the automated service simply said there were no techs available to speak with, and that I could leave a message, which I promptly did- in detail with contact information.

2 weeks later, no response.

I had the motherboard RMA'd with a replacement, which Newegg was willing to provide for me, although explained that if there were any bent pins, regardless of how it happened and even if it came out of the package this way, I would not be refunded.

I received my second motherboard in retail packaging, as expected. I removed it from the protective plastic, only to see slight streaks of white smudges on both the board itself, and on the metal casing that would soon clamp down over the CPU.

This could only be what I would think to be thermal paste, but is unacceptable from a retail package. I gently smudged some of it off to ensure it wasn't caked on, but was sure to leave it there so Newegg could see when/if I sent it back also.

I installed my RAM on A1 and B1 for dual channel, and much to my delight, the system started fine.

Shortly after a fresh reinstall of Windows 7, I had encountered issues where, upon startup, I would lose keyboard and mouse functionality and could not even enter my password to log in.

After a few attempts, I was finally able to enter safe mode and things seemed normal. I began to get artifacts with the on board display, blue and black static-y checkered striping and white noise, and the keyboard and mouse would become unresponsive.

After more troubleshooting, even with a GPU installed, the same freeze would happen, only without the on screen artifacts. The display of my desktop was visible, but any video or audio being played would stop dead and my keyboard and mouse again, unresponsive.

I finally reinstalled the original motherboard with the faulty ram slots, and so far so good. Mind you, 2 of 2 motherboards were defective in their own ways, and ASRock tech support is nowhere to be found.

Newegg is willing to RMA my board again, or even replace it with a different brand, but at this point I'm almost scared to even attempt a new install.

Other Thoughts: There's not much to say. I will never buy ASRock again purely due to their lack of support, and further more because two of the boards I received were defective.

Pros: None so far.

Cons: I get an error in that it won't read both stick of memory, and I can't get into windows to run any drivers. One egg because I emailed ASRock support on 3/29 and have yet to hear a peep from them, other than their acknowledgement of my request. I've search the net for answers, and joined TweakTown forums to try to remedy this. I suspect its a simple fix, but I am 10 years removed from geekdom, so I don't what it is.

Other Thoughts: I'll do a new review once it works.

Please turn the power off, clear the CMOS.
Remove the CPU to check mainboard’s CPU contact pins are normal. They should be pointing to same way and pattern.

Other Thoughts: Plugged everything in, worked on the first try. Lots of neat features including HDMI in. Included software allows you to adjust fan speeds at certain temperatures and monitor system temperatures. I really appreciated the well-organized UEFI interface and tutorial because this was my first build. Absolutely would recommend. No issues or bent pins.

Pros: rich feature set, solid construction, simple yet complete bios. it is also a beautiful board. the layout is optimal for my build. everything is in the right place. cables included is a big plus to me. packaging was protective and secure.

Cons: none at this time.

Other Thoughts: your philosophy of use will determine how perfect or not you think this board is. personally this is the perfect motherboard for me. all the dedicated devices i plan to add fit perfectly into this board and it has every feature i wanted at a better price than competitors that couldn't match this specific layout.

Pros: Asrock Motherboards are always feature packed.
I build at least 30 Computers year using Asrock Motherboards as the foundation. I have not had a single issues they are Rock solid and excellent performers.
If you are looking for a board with features like HDMI Input, SLI or Crossfire and great looks.. This Board is a great choice. Amazing software utilities package.

Cons: Wish it had a Display port instead of the VGA for 3 monitor support when paired with a Haswell.
