5 out of 5 eggsASRock B95M-ITX

Pros: Works great with my Xeon E3-1231v3. To my surprise it says H87M-ITX on the motherboard and has a socketed flash ROM. It still says B85M-ITX in the BIOS but has the updated H87 chipset.

Cons: Placement of the front panel audio and SATA are awkward for cable management. But knew this before I clocked buy.

Other Thoughts: It has beefed of fan controllers and can throttle even 3 pin fans which is nice if you have a quiet build. Even though it has only one chasis fan header, I used a 3-way splitter and it controls all my case fans just fine. (all 3-pin fans)

1 out of 5 eggsGreat product, Poor delivery.

Pros: For falling out of a mailbox, I'm pretty impressed. It sort of survived, looked okay (ignoring all of the bent pins)but the thing would not work at all.

Cons: I'm disappointed with UPS and how this delivery was handled. While checking if it would POST, well, it wouldn't. The onboard video was not working nor was the pci-e slot. One ram slot was working as well as multiple bent cpu pins. After all this disappointment I had sent it back to newegg for them to tell me that it was not covered by their warrantee. When I opened the box, the motherboard was outside of the electrostatic bag I had sent it in. I doubt I will shop with Newegg again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board with a great price

Pros: I purchased this board as part of a project to show some of my colleagues that you can build a great looking and performing compact PC even on a budget. This board delivers pretty much what I hoped for, and on sale.

-All SATA 3.0 ports
-front USB 3.0 capability
-Surround sound jacks
-overclocking capability (even if it's unofficial)
-fast boot time past BIOS
-Looks pretty darn good

Cons: There is an underwhelming 2 fan headers.

While attempting to overclock my G3258, applying OC settings and restarting would cause the board to restart 1 or 2 times for reasons I am not sure of. It would then not post until completely shut off and powered on again.

Other Thoughts: The PCB is not black, but a dark brown. Noticeable when in a black case, however mine is white.

The unit I received had an early BIOS version that didn't support Haswell refresh processors (I had a G3258), so I had to borrow someone else's processor to flash the BIOS, a pain. Realistically, all of the units with old BIOS's have most likely been shipped out already so I wouldn't worry, but just be wary.

Because the chipset does not natively support overclocking, there are some issues. Even if you overclock, the CPU will still report stock speeds to Windows, however CPU-Z reveals actual clock speeds.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little board

Pros: Incredibly reliable and durable. It's never experienced any hiccups or problems.
Very easy overclock. Paired it with a Pentium G3258 and I have it up and running on 3.8 GHz with an almost one-click operation.
Great BIOS layout, very easy to use.
A heap of IO ports. Tons of USB, both 3.0 and 2.0.
For first-time builders, instructions are very clear and concise.

Cons: Brown board color can be a bit off-putting for those with windowed or clear cases, but that wasn't the "case" for me. (anyone? anyone?)

Other Thoughts: I actually tried to think of more cons but couldn't. It's a fantastic board and is perfect for a Mini ITX build on a budget.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Paired it with a G3258 and it worked right out of the box with no BIOS update needed. Actually had the latest 2.20 version.

Extremely easy to overclock.

Overall a great buy.

Cons: The PCB's brown color

4 out of 5 eggsCheap & Easy Overclock

Pros: Mated this motherboard to an Intel G3258 and couldn't be happier. Literally one-click over clock in UEFI Bios w/o needing to update.

-Ridiculously fast boot
-Easy Overclock
-All peripherals I was looking for

Cons: -Board a little on the flimsy side (but not a huge deal)

Other Thoughts: So far this board has been perfect.

Will update with any future developments.

1 out of 5 eggsits sad really

Pros: it was nice while it lasted

Cons: This build was for a customer that wanted a small form factor pc that vould be lugged around and play the latest games. It was working well hor him until he brought it in and said that he heard a pop and the computer wouldnt turn on. i immediately assumed it was the psu but after trying my 800 watt psu that was not the case as no power was being delivered to the system with a slight smell coming from inside the case this is the 2nd time ive returned this board and i will not be getting another one
Specs of system

this board
8gb kingston 1333 mhz ram

5 out of 5 eggsFor WHS 2011 box

Pros: Rock solid computing platform for my server. I've also used 2 more of these for general home computers.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: My PC case came with a fixed speed fan, so I purchased a PWM fan for quieter operation. I plugged the new fan into the MB chassis fan connector, and tried to set up a fan curve in the BIOS, but kept getting erratic fan operation. I ended up pulling the MB out of the case for an up close and personal inspection.

Right off the bat I noticed a Nuvoton IC marked "3941S". I promptly did a web search and managed to find and download a data sheet for a Nuvoton NCT3941S which is listed as "The NCT3941S/S-A is a simply linear fan driver".

So I dug up my Fluke multimeter and verified that the +12V pin on the "chassis fan" connector supplies a variable DC output in proportion to the PWM value set in BIOS setup. (when PWM=50% , the +12V pin is actually reading 6V.

Because this feature, which is a really cool one, is not mentioned in the documentation, I bought a PWM fan unnecessarily. My original 2 pin case fan can be plugged into the "chassis fan" connector and set up for variable speed vs temperature operation.

4 out of 5 eggsgood mostly but some audio noise

Pros: Great little ITX board, does everything i want, good for future HTPC down the road.

Cons: audio noise issue through speakers at higher volumes. tried everything, 3 different amps, wires, its definitely something in the audio analog out (green plug). going to try optical out, should eliminate any noise....

4 out of 5 eggsnice price, ok mobo

Pros: Great price and easy to work with the clear instruction set.

Cons: The only issue I had was installing the stock drivers. My build has no CD ROM so I tried to use the internet flast from BIOS which I could not get to work. Easy work around was to use another computer with CD to load drivers on USB and transfer that way.

Other Thoughts: I paired this with an i3 4330 and have had a great deal of issue with the HD4600 graphics. The ONLY driver that works is the stock one from mobo manufacturer. The windows update driver causes a bios screen loop. Only two molex fan connectors, so get a splitter if you are running two case fans and proc fan
