5 out of 5 eggsGreat mini itx board!

Pros: Paired with an Intel i3-4130t (35w) and it's an amazing little HTPC! No problems so far, and have had this going for about 6 months.

Cons: It's a mini-itx board, so it's not easily compatible with my big stubby fingers ... not a con though.

Other Thoughts: Definitely recommend this board!

3 out of 5 eggsFunctional and budget conscious

Pros: The board is cheap and offers everything on the tin. Two SATA slots is adequate - if unspectacular for a mini ITX build.

Cons: Having issues with using a PCIe Wireless Card in the PCIe 16x slot. The computer simply refuses to boot - not even to BIOS. Not sure what the issue is. BIOS is at the latest version already.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a solid product for a mid tier mini ITX build.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Great budget socket 1150 Mobo!

Cons: No USB 3.0 header on motherboard,

Other Thoughts: Why not include the header, the port is on the silicon!

2 out of 5 eggsGimped B85M

Pros: I didn't use it, I ordered this one by mistake and immediately returned it but I thought others should know so they don't do the same.

Cons: This is the exact same board as the B85M but they purposefully didn't solder on 2 sata connectors and the usb 3.0 header. They did this so they could make 2 separate models and charge you more for the "better" one.

Other Thoughts: Yes I could have saved $10 and just got this one but I really need the usb 3.0 header. Just make sure you know before buying that the B85M is the exact same board with 2 more sata connectors and a usb 3.0 header for just $10 more.

5 out of 5 eggsAS Rocks

Pros: Great mobo, does everything as described in the description. Great price.

Cons: 24 pin connector is difficult to connect. I tried connectors from 3 different power supplies. I am not sure if user error, or real close tolerances. Nothing to take an egg off for.

Other Thoughts: I wish I read the description better, and planned my build a little better. I really would of liked another 3 or 4 pin fan connector on the board. I do not like the PCI-E locking device. It just slides over the tab of the graphics card, I would of like something with a more secure connection.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: -Rebate was honored and arrived after two months of purchase.
-Works properly.
-ASRock software is great. It has a bandwidth controller, overclocking software, and much more. The overclocking software made overvolting quick and easy.

Cons: -For some reason, they have an option in the BIOS for you to choose whether your SATA device(s) is a SSD or HDD. I spoke with technical support about this because I couldn't find anything about it online and they said it doesn't matter what setting you have. This isn't exactly a 'con' with the motherboard, but it's so weird. Why would you have a setting in the BIOS that doesn't do anything? Why not just remove it?
-When speaking with tech support, I had spoken to a few different people and all had heavy accents. I understand they're based outside of native English speaking countries, but it made it very difficult to understand what they were trying to say in regards to the issue above.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great motherboard with little/no issues, but there's a setting in the BIOS that does nothing (apparently) and customer service will be difficult to understand for English speakers.

3 out of 5 eggsehhh

Pros: Good price.. worked well

Cons: This biggest con is the sata ports. I knew it only had two going in. The problem is that this is an artificial barrier. The board clearly has two more sata ports without the sata headers. Why intentionally cripple the board? In the bios you can clearly see that it has four sata ports but only two of them have the connectors soldered onto the board!

3 out of 5 eggsUSB Stop working

Pros: Great price

Cons: USB was working initially, but stop working after installing USB driver from the disc included. Already contacted ASRock for tech support and waiting on their response.

Other Thoughts: 3 eggs for now until I got this resolved.

Manufacturer Response:

Please install fresh Windows again.

5 out of 5 eggsMake sure you know the specs!

Pros: Grabbed this with a $20 rebate, making it a very affordable mITX board. It has everything I need and nothing I don't, which I find ideal, but if you have plans to expand your rig or need a lot of internal expansion, this is not the board for you.

Cons: 2 internal SATA hubs, 2 fan hubs (one for CPU fan), no USB3 internal hub. In my case, I only ever plan on having two SATA drives, I got a cheap cable splitter to get motherboard controlled power to my case fans, and I got a cheap USB3 to USB2 adapter so I can get USB2 on my front panel (if you really need the transfer speed, just use the I/O USB3).

Other Thoughts: If you spend some time thinking about your build and checking all of the specs on this board, it can work out great!

4 out of 5 eggsNot Compatible with Hyper 212 EVO

Pros: Inexpensive
Overclocks without needing more expensive Z97 chipset

Cons: Not compatible with the popular Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO HSF. There are some transistors that are placed too close to one of the mounting holes that would get crushed by the backplate.

Other Thoughts: The main draw of this board for me was the overclocking potential. But incompatibility with the popular 212 EVO really reduces that potential.
