5 out of 5 eggsGood MoBo so far

Pros: Board is pretty solid.
Nice color red.
Works right out of the box.
Runs Win7 without headache.
Mouse in USB mouse port works great.
Using Fatal1ty LAN software, was not needed for me, but some people use torrent programs may work for them.
Onboard Sound is AWESOME.
I got this because of PCIe 3.0.(I dont have PCIE 3.0 videocard yet), using APU's GPU. runs good on arma 3 at med/low graiphic settings and most today's games.

Cons: Not really con, have heating issue using stock cooler came with AMD APU 7850k causes it to shutdown if unattended and the chipset gets fairly hot as well. Planning to put better heatsink and fan for that APU.

Other Thoughts: My system spec:
AMD A10-7850K
ASrock Fatal1ty FM2A88X+ Killer
Seasonic 650W 80 plus gold
WD VelociRaptor 250 10k RPM Sata III
WD Blue 500GB HDD II
G.Skill Ripjaws X series 16GB(2 x 8GB) DDR3 2400 model F3-2400C11D-16GXM
Cooler Master HAF 922
I have tested to OC to 4.2GHz for short time, but need to keep CPU last longer.
Planning to get Geforce GTX 980.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposed to.

Pros: It works alright, I've had no problems with it so far. A few crashes here and there but I doubt it's my motherboard, audio is slightly better but noticeably much quieter than my old and cheap Dell front audio. Other than that there isn't much else to say about this motherboard.

Cons: 2 x SATA cables may not be enough for most people, I had to go to buy a third separately. Features severely lacking behind competitors, BIOS seems very old and outdated and overclocking wasn't as good as it could be. Many better color scheme's out there for the price with much more functionality. While ASUS boards might not look as good, I have no doubt they have much better ease of use.

Other Thoughts: While this board might be good for 3 years ago, it's lagging behind today. ASRock needs to improve their quality or looks to compete with other's in today's market. I'd suggest getting rid of the white mixed with the red and abandon that mustard yellow they use on their overclocking boards. Overall it's a good board but there are many better options out there.

1 out of 5 eggsbad

Pros: none

Cons: They do not tell you in this add that this MB will not run PCI 3.0 unless you use the FM2+ processor. Also this thing is very sencative about the type of ram you use.Should say this in this add. Had to learn it on the asrock website. And i am not a computer Guru so if this is stupid srry but i bought it thinking it would be PCI 3.0 with either processor

4 out of 5 eggsNice Motherboard

Pros: Awesome motherboard. Very nice color scheme as well as performance. Very easy and very simple.

Cons: This motherboard isn't very friendly with Windows 7 but not a big deal. Just got windows 8.1 and runs fine just wish it was a bit more past O.S. friendly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Beyond the technical prowess of this wonderful piece of electronic wonder, it flat out looks awesome. I have the capability for Crossfire, easy housing for the cpu and It makes me giggle when i look at it.

Cons: Some connectors are not straight up but directed sideways or down which meant i needed to order a new case to house my build. But that's all i can find.

3 out of 5 eggsGood but with Problems

Pros: All the usual's Price, Build easy, Good Performance.

Cons: Major issues with mouse lag. Searched forums and found many people have mouse lag issues with this board and many mice. Have to use an old MS COM 3000 to get no sticking and slow response with my mouse. Thought it was mouse at first till I moved to another and another and finally confirmed in forums.

Other Thoughts: They have no fix for this issue so if you have a mouse you wish to use on your build with this board please do some research and be sure your mouse will work. I am looking to replace asap with Asus Cross blade and highly suggest you go that route if you can.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued ASRock Customer

Sorry for the mouse lag issue.
We would be more than happy to resolve this issue.
Please contact us with detail problem description, mouse model, and plugged to which USB port at link below. We will assist you shortly.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat board, great price

Pros: -LOTS of SATA ports. Servers rejoice.
-Plenty of USB ports (gotta want them to find them. Just call them Waldo)
-Killer network works great. Dropped my latency by 10 ms and it stays consistent.
Easy to navigate through the BIOS.

Cons: I'm pretty sure the entire ASRock team were hanging out at the bar, when suddenly the topic came up on where to place the SLI/Crossfire connector. They placed it at the very bottom of the board. Heed my warning: if you are going to Crossfire/SLI, hook this up first, then put the board in.

3 out of 5 eggsBuyer Must Be Prepared to look for drivers

Pros: -Lots of USB outlets.

-Two 3.0 video card slots (blew my mind.)

-Plenty of space for the most amazing big video card out there.

Cons: Where to begin...

When I started to go into the bios it wouldn't register the monitor until I figured out you had to hold the delete key before booting and give it time for the monitor to keep up with the mother board.

When I installed the video card on the board it took the mother board 20 sec to boot the monitor while loading the OS.

The drivers for the 3.0 Slots didn't work at all.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this board until all the bugs are fixed. This board had everything except a better pint type for AMD+ for it, but over all this was a board I had to check out due to the specs of it.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
The delete key is to entering BIOS which needs to change the setting on mainboard and not required it at all time.

Please download and update the latest BIOS at link below.
Load the BIOS default.
BIOS download link " http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20FM2A88X+%20Killer/?cat=Download&os=BIOS "
Test with another monitor.
