4 out of 5 eggsFirst one RMA'd, second was great.

Pros: The BIOS on this board is excellent for power users. Easy overclocking (Or even underclocking, if that's your thing).

Cons: The first one I received had a malfunctioning BIOS chip. Having it RMA'd was extremely easy, and the replacement I got worked flawlessly.

5 out of 5 eggsLove This Board!

Pros: This mobo is a great all purpose board. It doesn't a lot of extra frills I don't need, and don't want to pay for - but it does have the features I need:
DDR3 1600/1333/1066
6 x SATA 6Gb/s
Intel NIC
Supports Intel's integrated graphics on new i3/5/7 chips with HDMI out
Built in USB3

And it doesn't have a bunch of extra PCIe 3 lots for multiple graphics cards, which I have never felt the need for, even on my gaming computer or other flares that cost extra, but I don't use.

I have installed this board and the Pro3 previous generation of it in 6 or 7 computers I own between my business and home and another 3-4 computers I have helped friends and family assemble. Oldest Pro4 board I have, I purchased 11/29/2013 and is in my Sign graphic design computer with an i7 and 16gigs for ram. Also acts as the secondary back for our graphic design server. This computer is on 24x7 and used hard M-F for 8-12hrs per day, in a very dusty environment. Still going strong.. (knock on wood...)

Cons: Only con I can think of is I don't like how the SATA ports are horizontal. They get a bit to close to the HDD holder on some cases, but at the same time this lets them clear some monster graphics cards, so maybe its not a con after all.

Other Thoughts: This has become my go to mobo when I need to build a or revamp a computer. Unless a friend or family member requests something special, I only to minimal shopping for the board before I usually end up on this one.
(I do have biostar boards in my Point of sale computers, because I needed even lower specs than usual and was trying to keep the cost rock bottom, and Newegg had some on sale.)

I have ran Gigabyte, Asus, MSI, Asrock, Biostar boards in computers I have built. I have had good luck with all brands, and the companies seem to all make good boards. But Asrock repeatedly hits the perfect balance with this board between price and specs I care about, without having extra features I will never use, and don't want to pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't use it to OC

Pros: Some people on here are complaining about how this board doesn't OC well. It's not designed to OC well, for that you have to get a board with a Z97 chipset. This has a H97, the none OC brother.
I like the cool and design of the board for a board that is pretty cheap. Runs stable, good software support and the board temperature seems to run pretty cool.

Cons: The heat sink quality is a bit now and rough, I couldn't tell from the photos posted in Newegg before I bought it but it's not a huge deal. Don't really know why they included two PCI slots.

Other Thoughts: I bought this board for a NZXT S340 case and for some reason really goofed and got this micro ATX board when I should have bought a full sized one. It looks a bit silly from the side window with all that open space sitting there but oh well :(

5 out of 5 eggsIm happy

Pros: I haven't had any issues with it. I think its a great matx board due to it having two pci express slots. I can crossfire two gpu's when I can afford them. For the cost and features I think it is great for a budget build. I looked at amd for a week before deciding to spend a little more on the intel build. I know the am3+ socket is dead and fm2+ might have a future but at least i can upgrade to the 5th generation cpu's when they come out.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I read tons of reviews on motherboards and wondered why so many have bad reviews. If you read through newegg it looks like everything ever made is junk. It makes you think what these intelligent people are doing. Maybe putting them together on the carpet in their living room? Chewing on them. I don't know. It makes it hard for knowledgeable people to make good decisions on products they haven't used before.Any way I paired the board with an i5 4590 and 8gb or ddr3 1333mhz ram.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board so far

Pros: Has all the features I need. H97 chipset instead of my previous H87 for whatever that is worth. A couple of USB 2.0 ports for the slow stuff and plenty of USB 3.0 ports for the rest.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice if it had an mSATA connector so I could reuse my SSD from my failed motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Board

Pros: Looks cool. Works well. Nice features. Killer bios.

Cons: Price. No 1x PCI-e.

Other Thoughts: Why 2 legacy PCI slots? When I purchased this board, it had a real price advantage over the z97, that seems to be gone...

4 out of 5 eggsNice Board, but Issues with Installing Win 7..

Pros: Nice looking board, that's for sure.
I like the optical audio port too for my A/V receiver.

Cons: Apparently Asrock motherboards and Windows 7 install disks don't like each other. I would constantly get an error "code 5" when trying to boot from it. Make sure you have a Vista disk so you can install that, then upgrade to Windows 7. That's the only way I got it to work.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: So far, no problems; functions great. Plenty of USB's, sound is fairly good on-board. Also, easy and friendly BIOS, no hassles. Would buy again.

Cons: Not the right board if you're looking to run SLI or CrossFire (at least not if you need even 1 PCI slot). Happily, that is not my case however.

Other Thoughts: Good Mobo,

5 out of 5 eggsGreat basic motherboard

Pros: -Looks good
-Everything works great
-You can change the CPU multiplier for overclocking, even though it's the h and not the z series
-Great bios layout
-4x USB 3.0
-Cheap

Cons: -No support under the 24 pin power plug so be sure to support it when plugging in the cable, not really worth an egg for me as I read about it beforehand and it seems many mini-atx share this issue
