3 out of 5 eggsCheap And fun, but be warned

Pros: -Good price
-works great

Cons: -Be careful, if you have at least a "big' graphics card(I used the msi gtx370) it covers the PCI express slot making it unusable. So if you want to get a pci express wireless card, dont even try.
-only two ram slots

Other Thoughts: -Would recommend if you dont have a graphics card/no planning to use pci slot

2 out of 5 eggsno onboard graphic

Pros: easy to install, easy set up

Cons: might be an error on my part but went to plug in vga onboard got nothing even enabled it in the bios

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Chris,

Thank you for purchase and review.
Please check if using CPU has built-in integrated GPU.
If using Athlon series CPU that required discrete VGA card due to not built-in integrated GPU (refers to AMD specification).
Visit mainboard CPU support list link below to verify that using CPU has integrated graphics processor or needs a VGA card.

1 out of 5 eggsLooked Nice but DOA

Pros: Nice Packaging

Cons: DOA, I went through the steps to check if it was another component but to no avail. Did an RMA thru Newegg for a replacement. Hope to give it a thorough review.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Daniel,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Please trouble shoot the mainboard whether the issue is resolved.
• Unplug the ATX power, remove all components from mainboard.
• Remove the mainboard from chassis, place it on mainboard’s box.
• Clear the CMOS.
• Reseat the CPU and heatsink fan.
• Test with single memory module.
• Test with onboard video (CPU with APU or test with VGA card).
• Connect the monitor.
• Plug the 24 + 4 pins ATX power.
• Connect the chassis power switch to mainboard.
• Turn on the power to check if its post.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA and Defects

Pros: It supports AMD FM2 and FM2+ it has access to USB 3.0 and SATA3, 2 Graphic Outputs and well lets see oh yeah PCI express 3.0, BUT!!! it only works for CPUs that are FM2+ so if you want to buy this to work with your FM2 socket CPU, DON'T, it wont work. has a lot of nice features but it only works best with FM2+ CPUs.

Cons: The first one arrived DOA, i could not even get to the BIOS screen or anything, would turn on, but it was a dead screen always. the second one looked promising, up until i plugged in the ethernet cable. could not read the cables, tried different cables and even tested them, its the motherboard again. even installed the wifi on it and still nothing was being read. i would not waste my time on this motherboard again cause its not reliable. il just find another motherboard that can support PCIE3.0 and FM2 and FM2+ CPUs.

Other Thoughts: none

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsHit and miss

Pros: Once you get the firmware updated, great!

Makes a great Linux box. I used Kernels 3.13 and 3.16 without issue. Running Linux Mint 17.1 and 17.2 without issue.

Cons: All three of the ones that I ordered crashed repeatedly on Linux MInt/Ubuntu. The issue was that the firmware was out of date. Use the built in tools to update your firmware, and everything will be right as rain.

Other Thoughts: I recommend updating your firmware before your install anything. I had one crash during OS installation, and another crash during software updates.

5 out of 5 eggsOk for a budget build

Pros: It works. I was a little worried because there was no reviews on the product. The bios is cool and easy to use. It overclocks easily. See cons for help if you have driver or bios issues.
My build:
cpu- a6-5400k
ram- gskill aegis 1333 2x4gb
hdd- wd320 scorpio blue

Cons: The drivers from the disk crashed windows 7. Everything would run fine till the system would try to reboot and install the 170 updates. It would fail to install the updates and revert the changes. After that it would restart and not find the hdd. I troubleshot this thing for two days. Ended up formatting the drive and starting over after I ran test to ensure the hdd was ok. Reseated all the components and begun to install windows. I only installed the lan driver from the disc the second time. Windows updates installed correctly. After everything was tested with prime95 overnight I tried installing the amd all in one drivers again. It ran fine. Couple more windows updates were done and it crashed again. This time I booted into safe mode and restored it to before the amd all in one install. Worked great after that. I ended up coming to the conclusion that the sata driver was crashing windows on restart and causing it to loose the windows installation after updates. I went directly to amd and installed the missing usb 3.0 drivers and whatever else was missing.
Also the bios would freeze when updating it. I downloaded the 1.20 version to a fat 32 formatted usb and went the the instant flash setting in the bios. If you clicked update after it found the file it would freeze up. If you click the file name itself it would run the update just fine. It came with the very first bios version for this board.

Other Thoughts: I would purchase this again for a budget build. It seems a little flimsy if your case has the small round standoffs. This pc was built for a coworker to surf the web and general home use.
