Watch for the BIOS version
Pros: 4 Ethernet ports. Seems to be stable running Memtest and some early test applications. The *new* BIOS version works fine (see cons below).
Cons: Be careful what BIOS version you have. I ordered 8 boards, and of the 8, 7 came with the old v1.x BIOS, and one had the newer 2.x BIOS. According to Supermicro, only the newer BIOS supports the v2 Intel Xeon E3 CPUs. If you plug a new CPU into a board with the old BIOS, it won't even post. You'll get 4 long beeps, and then nothing but black silence... I wasted a week trying to figure out what was happening. My solution was to buy a cheap Celeron G440 CPU (that was compatible with the socket and old BIOS), boot the system and run the BIOS updater, remove the Celeron, and plug in my new Xeons. I'm docking 3 stars for the pain Supermicro put me through trying to figure this out! (On the bright side, in a few months when all the inventory has the new BIOS, this will not be an issue. Other than this, the board seems fine).

Pros: Very well thought out. Well designed. Documentation is very thorough. This board does everything that I want it to do, and consistently. The price is more than fair, given the capabilities, reliability, and state of the market. I sent one e-mail to tech support, and got an answer back ASAP. This board is excellent for a small business/home office server, and is paired with a Xeon 1230 and 16 GB RAM. I haven't hit the ceiling yet, and have asked it to do a lot of work.
Cons: Not really a con, but the manual, or the web site, should get more into explaining the implementation of UEFI, or have some pointers to web-based resources explaining and correlating their implementation. No eggs off, because of the excellent nature of this equipment, at a good price.
Other Thoughts: For those of us in the frozen North, newegg might want to consider stocking some of these items in New Jersey (things seem to get to Canada a lot faster if shipped from there). SuperMicro's implementation of IPMI distinguishes it as far superior to consumer level offerings. Great work! For any less experienced individuals, please download the manual, and read it thoroughly before using this board as the base for a system - you will learn a lot, and save yourself a lot of time and hassle.

Unbuffered DIMMS required
Pros: To be determined.
Cons: RAM requirements not clear
Other Thoughts: This board requires Unbuffered DIMMS. Registered DIMMs are not compatible, I think they could have made this a little clearer in the specs.
