Dihong G. 11/3/2015 1:45:24 PM Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Good Board, Overall This review is from: SUPERMICRO MBD-X10DRI-T-O Extended ATX Xeon Server Motherboard Dual LGA 2011 Intel C612 Pros: I purchased two of these boards at the same time for 4 xeon processors. Both of the two boards can be easily configured, and work so far so good. Cons: It turns out to be quite common an issue over all Supermicro's MB -- The CPU fans run to maximum power periodically (every 10 seconds or so). This is caused by a hard coded minimum fan speed (e.g. 500RPM). If fan speed falls below this threshold, the system considers it as "critical situation" and maximizes the fan speed until no overheat detected (around 10 seconds). This can be fixed, by setting the threshold to lower values (e.g. 100RPM). Other Thoughts: The specifications are very impressive given its price. Dual 10G Ethernet ports, lots of RAM slots, and 10 sata ports. If we have more sata ports, e.g. 15-20, then it becomes a definitively a perfect board. James S. 5/21/2015 8:13:30 AM Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Not terrible This review is from: SUPERMICRO MBD-X10DRI-T-O Extended ATX Xeon Server Motherboard Dual LGA 2011 Intel C612 Pros: Single or Dual Xeon E5-2600 v3 series, good amount of DDR4 memory slots, dual integrated 10Gb Ethernet ports, integrated IPMI. Cons: Very unstable, kept losing connectivity with the second CPU, memory tied to second CPU, and PCI-E slots tied to the second CPU. ESXi would crash every few hours.
