4 out of 5 eggsSupermicro MBD-C7X99-OCE-O on Linux Fedora 21

Pros: 1. This is a well made motherboard, the factory obviously took great care in soldering components to the board. No solder bridges or poorly made solders. All components on the board are of the highest quality. Although the board looks like it has 8 power phases those appear to just be for the CPU, it looks like it has an additional 4 power phases for the memory.
2. The motherboard looks really professional, no cheesy looking, massive heat sinks.
3. The BIOS has all the options anyone could possibly need. Like the hardware itself, it looks very professional.
4.The board works great with Linux Fedora 21 and a 5820k CPU. I have not used Windows on this machine, so I cannot comment on that.
5. Although I have not overclocked anything yet, the BIOS has plenty of options for this. In fact, The amount of options are almost comparable what is seen in some $400-$600 boards.
6. The board comes with an integrated PS/2 port.

Cons: 1. Some stuff on the board is awkwardly placed.
2. The board could use more USB ports.
3. This is not really a con with the board itself, but the settings of the integrated Intel LAN ports can be changed, even when the computer is off, a potential security risk.
4. The SATA cables the board comes with are long.

Other Thoughts: This board works with Crucial Ballistix DDR4, I do not know if that particular memory is on the QVL, but it seems to be fine.
