5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Cheap and upgradable.

Cons: only 2 SATA and 1 IDE connectors on the mobo, not a big deal though.

1 out of 5 eggsBAD NEWS

Pros: Price

Cons: Everything Else, Purchased 6 of which 2 were DOA, IF you don't need the SATA RAID, then that would be about the only issue. If you do need the SATA RAID forget it. I've done SATA RAID installs on desktops to servers without any issues, I never made these work. Even after talking to tech support, they would not work following their instructions.

Other Thoughts: They are ok for VERY basic systems. High failure rate, never try to use the RAID. I won't buy another for any reason. SPend the extra 10 to 25 on a decent MSI, GIGIBYTE, I even like the last ASROck I ordered.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap and an effective short-term mobo.

Cons: Somewhat slow, and very restricting when it comes to RAM and PCI devices. Much of the Onboard features such as audio did not work.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Board

Pros: Everyting worked great out of the box, had no issese installing what so ever. This bord is not high end by any means, but has many usefull purposes.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: As for the bad documation in one of the other comments, i found all the information i needed to hook up all my front connections, including audio on/off and reset, in the provided manual. Was my first time installing a new board in a new case and was fairly simple to follow the instructions.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Motherboard

Pros: If you understand that its not a high-end motherboard, what your getting for the money is great. Had this 3 months with no problems. Does allow overclocking, though its kinda funky.

Cons: Can't hold anything against this board.

Other Thoughts: If you want a more future-proof or high-end computer, this is not for you. I used this for a decent workstation, and with a max of 4GB and PCI Express x16 it works fine for that reason.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't do it!

Pros: Price

Cons: Bad product documentation. They don't label where you put your case's front connections, such as the power switch, reset switch, etc.

Other Thoughts: I think this would be a decent board if they labeled what you need to know or have better documentation.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's good

Pros: Nice look
Does enable overclocking

Cons: Doesn't have a system thermometer
Not recognized by many overclocking utilities

Other Thoughts: Though it doesn't not have a system thermometer, it does have cpu, ram ,etc, so it's not that much of a problem. Besides that, I'll give it 5 eggs for working.

4 out of 5 eggsTemp Monitor?

Pros: Installation was simple in my case. Installed Vista, installed drivers. No problems.

**The Intel Heatsink and Fan, seemed to be an easier install then my experience with the MSI board I replaced.

Cons: Was suprised to see no included software to monitor temps and rpm ect.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsStill happy, still buying...

Pros: My linux-based (MythTV) HTPC is still running strong on one of these boards. It is an excellent value for the price. I needed a test PC for something else so I setup this board along with a Q6600 CPU and it's going strong (Debian Etch users will need more recent version than 2.6.18 for SATA -- I'm using 2.6.25).

Cons: No gigabit ethernet.

Other Thoughts: If I could change one thing I'd ask for GigE but it's hard to fault this board at this price. It'd also be great if an SPDIF bracket was included but that would also drive up the price.
