1 out of 5 eggsExploded capacitors

Pros: Lots of features and ports

Cons: Capacitors exploded after 6 years of use.

Other Thoughts: I thought we were past this sort of thing after the capacitor plague of the 2000s.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Many features; BIOS adjustable from Windows; Easy setup; diagnostic LEDs on board.

Cons: Was tempermental at first about booting up, then after 2 days it would not power up at all. Many other reviews had similar problems.

Other Thoughts: RMAd it and am probably going to buy a cheap board so that I can have a computer this Christmas, while I wait for the RMA.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is my first Foxconn board and so far I'm loving it. It was very easy to install and setup. It also comes with more cables then you will know what to do with. Which to me is a good thing.

Cons: The aux power connector for the video is at the very bottom of the board and can be a pain to wire depending on your power supply.

Other Thoughts: Just a note, this board uses the EPS 12V standard. To get the best performance be sure to get a power supply that supports this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: I was able to get this MB when it was on special for $80 off. Paired it with two 8600 PCI-16 cards running using the SLI setup. The Ntune software makes tweaking this MB so easy. So far, it's been stable and incredibly fast compared to my last machine. I can run games at their highest settings with no perceivable lag and I'm not dying as often !!!

Cons: I would have preferred more of a passive heating setup by Nvidia and Foxconn but I only padi $105 net.

5 out of 5 eggsProblem free

Pros: Works right out of the box, dual LAN, SLI, and nice cooling system, Every thing is placed after careful thoughts, I am getting up to 17mb/sec data rate transfer from UBS HD and up to 5MB/sec on local 400GB SATA.

Cons: Little costly for its peers from ASUS but can't complain as you get tones of cable and stuff.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Worked first boot up! no more hassle on setup than any other board.

Cons: One ram slot is a little close to the CPU, but it still fits pressed against the fan. Liveupdate and drivers arent compatible off the disk with vista, has to be loaded off site.

Other Thoughts: how do they make cheez?
