Get excellent power of performance with Foxconn's G31MV-K Motherboard. This micro-ATX motherboard is based around Intel's G31 and ICH7 chipsets and is ready to support 45nm technology Intel LGA 775 socket Core 2 Duo and Celeron D processors with a front side bus of 1066 Mhz with 1333 Mhz speeds achievable through overclocking. A pair of 240-pin sockets allows you to install up to 4GB of DDR2 memory with dual channel support.
Video is handled by the onboard Intel GMA 3100 chipset or you can install a PCI Express x16 graphics card to take on the load. Another PCI slot allows further expansion of your system and the Realteck ALC662 audio chipset delivers 6 channels of sound for your enjoyment. Dual 3 GB/s SATA devices can be installed and eight USB 2.0 connectors allow you to attach peripherals at will without having to struggle to find an empty port while the Gigabit Ethernet LAN lets you connect to a home or business network.
Cons: Needs another fan header or two, I suppose you could argue for more SATA ports or a IEEE header, but for this price what can you expect.
Other Thoughts: I bought this board for a cheap (<$300) build to replacement for a 6 year old HP desktop. The set-up is as follows:
E2180, 2GB DDR2-800, 150Gb HHD, DVD burner, Cheap Antec case.
The board booted up without issue. Windows loaded without issue. Graphics are fine for word processing, internet surfing, and anything that doesn't need a dedicated graphics card. Over a decent board with enough options for your basic computer.

Pros: Owned this since Feb/24/09 First off to anyone thinking of purchasing this board for a good, stable, cheap, build. Don't hesitate. All the reviews I've read made almost regret it before I got it. It's perfect for a cheap build. $50!
Yes, this board overclocks, and is very stable. As long as you know what you're doing. (See other comments) Core voltage, and Ram voltage, and timings. This board is VERY stable, I've played with this thing for hours and hours on end, literally just playing with settings trying to make it unstable. Easily overclocked to a STABLE 3.2ghz with E7400, maybe could have gone higher, but wasn't even trying to go that high. I know that's not extreme, but for a board not tailored to overclocking, it's pretty nice. Ram timings easily adjustable,4-4-4-4-11 with no problems. Works like most other expensive boards. Sound worked flawlessly, not the best in the world. But, hey. Again, you're buying a $50 mobo. It's to be expected.
Cons: There is almost nothing bad about this board I've experienced. I know some people have had bad sound drivers and what not. Not a con, update the drivers if you're worried. I used the disc that came with it. Worked flawlessly.
Other Thoughts: One thing I have to add, bios was FEB/08. So, this worked, flawlessly, and haven't had a single problem with this board. If you have some knowledge of how this stuff works, you're not going to be buying a $50 mobo to insanely overclock. Keep your overclocking to a minimum and you'll be extremely happy. If you're buying this for more than a cheap build/replacement you're obviously looking in the wrong spot. This doesn't take away from the quality of this product, it just means you need to take a step back and evaluate your "needs/wants" in a motherboard. AND PLEASE, do your homework on products before posting horrible reviews, just because it's not tailored to YOUR needs.

Pros: The speed and daily operations of this board are very good for the price. It's small and fits most cases which led me to purchase it. And I like a socket 775. Drivers are no problem.
Cons: The first one I purchased was a bad board. The bells rang, the whistles blowed, the lights lit, but it had no video. An expansion card didn't help so I had to get an RMA. Newegg was good on that point.
Other Thoughts: This isn't my first Foxconn board. I've used several for replacements and most of the time I have good results. The price is usually better than the others and is always comparable. The quality is good for the price too.
