Cheap Board for Cheap computer
- Pros: Cheap! 4GB DDR-800 max, LGA-775 socket,SATA ports, Intel X3100 integrated graphics, optional PCI-E x16 slot, G31 chipset, Decent board layout, limited overclocking options, did I mention Cheap!
- Cons: Needs another fan header or two, I suppose you could argue for more SATA ports or a IEEE header, but for this price what can you expect.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this board for a cheap (<$300) build to replacement for a 6 year old HP desktop. The set-up is as follows:
E2180, 2GB DDR2-800, 150Gb HHD, DVD burner, Cheap Antec case.
The board booted up without issue. Windows loaded without issue. Graphics are fine for word processing, internet surfing, and anything that doesn't need a dedicated graphics card. Over a decent board with enough options for your basic computer.

First off to anyone thinking of purchasing this board for a good, stable, cheap, build. Don't hesitate. All the reviews I've read made almost regret it before I got it. It's perfect for a cheap build. $50!

Core voltage, and Ram voltage, and timings.
This board is VERY stable, I've played with this thing for hours and hours on end, literally just playing with settings trying to make it unstable.
Easily overclocked to a STABLE 3.2ghz with E7400, maybe could have gone higher, but wasn't even trying to go that high. I know that's not extreme, but for a board not tailored to overclocking, it's pretty nice.
Ram timings easily adjustable,4-4-4-4-11 with no problems. Works like most other expensive boards.
Sound worked flawlessly, not the best in the world. But, hey. Again, you're buying a $50 mobo. It's to be expected.
- Cons: There is almost nothing bad about this board I've experienced. I know some people have had bad sound drivers and what not. Not a con, update the drivers if you're worried. I used the disc that came with it.

- Other Thoughts: One thing I have to add, bios was FEB/08. So, this worked, flawlessly, and haven't had a single problem with this board.
If you have some knowledge of how this stuff works, you're not going to be buying a $50 mobo to insanely overclock. Keep your overclocking to a minimum and you'll be extremely happy. If you're buying this for more than a cheap build/replacement you're obviously looking in the wrong spot. This doesn't take away from the quality of this product, it just means you need to take a step back and evaluate your "needs/wants" in a motherboard. AND PLEASE, do your homework on products before posting horrible reviews, just because it's not tailored to YOUR needs.

great board, one problem?
- Pros: great power and options in a small package and great price. (read specs or other comments)
- Cons: this might just be me, but when i excitedly upgraded to 64 bit windows (win7, but i think its all), i still couldnt use all the ram.
770Mb shows up as "reserved by hardware" or something like that. when i took one stick out, it didnt do that at all.
(i have the onboard gfx card disabled, so its not that)
- Other Thoughts: great board with 0 issues save for one annoyance.

Fantastic Mobo
- Pros: Very good mother board. I would recommend for anyone who need a budget computer without compromising speed. This mobo is beat my $124 mobo whic is a well known barnd.

- Pros: Works well with WHS. No problems with installation. Nice to have Gbit ethernet. I needed a serial port, so that was nice as well. Threw a cheap and cool celeron in.
- Cons: Would be nice to have 4x SATA ports instead of 2.
