1 out of 5 eggsStill having problems

Pros: Newegg's fast shipping and customer service.

Cons: Kept getting BSOD's when I got this board the first time. RMA'd that one and same problems. Tried to diagnose more indepth this time and finally narrowed it down to the motherboard when I found second mobo that was known to work. Of course now out of the 30 day return or refund policy. Will talk to both Newegg and foxconn to see what avenues I can pursue. I'll let ya know how it goes.

5 out of 5 eggsGood so far

Pros: It works, it does every thing that Newegg said it would.

Cons: Instruction Manual is unclear, but even with my tech exp I had no problems.

Other Thoughts: now I need a faster CPU

5 out of 5 eggsno problems yet ....

Pros: Decent price, Windows 7 x64 Ultimate works awesome, running an older (and abused) C2D E6850 @ 3.0GHz with no problem. I don't overclock, so I couldn't tell if the overclocking options are good or bad, I just know my CPU is working at it's rated speed with no issues.

I read all the comments before buying this board, and yes I was worried I'd get a DOA board, guess I lucked out :P Been running Windows 7 since August with no issues, although .....

Cons: This board DID seem picky about what OS I loaded on it. I tried Windows XP Sp3, Windows XP x64, Ubuntu & CentOS Linux before I settled on Windows 7. The 4 previous OS's would either blue screen or lock up randomly for the first 3 days (and that was even after a BIOS upgrade) before I threw in the towel and downloaded Windows 7 via my Technet account.

Other Thoughts: Aside from operating system installation and running headaches with anything before Windows 7 (I never tried Vista) this board hasn't given me any reason to knock it.

I'm running 4GB of ram, 3 hard drives (one of which is the horrible OCZ 64gb SSD with the jmicron controller), ATI 4870 video card, and my trusty X-Fi XtremeMusic. Everything just works.

1 out of 5 eggsWOW J U N K.

Pros: JUNK

Cons: This thing came to me the first time with 2 of the 3 PCI slots DOA. 2nd one came to me with a usb problem to where every time you plug a usb cable in it fries the component.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Get something a little more pricey, cause I found out you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsGood motherboard

Pros: Great Price. It auto detected the raid 0 that was on the system which was nice.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I was helping someone that had a motherboard start dying so they got this to replace the old motherboard. It has plenty of ability to build on to make a great system that will last.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA :/

Pros: 3 pci express 2.0 slots, 4 ram slots, good size, has plenty of 3 pin connectors, and has a neat color.

Cons: the board arrived dead on arrival. All i could get was an orange light by the 24 pin connector and nothing else, not even a post.

Other Thoughts: I gave it the second egg because i'm shipping to back to newegg for a replacement and i'm pretty sure i'll be very satisfied with the board if it's actually working.

5 out of 5 eggsI think I got the last one!

Pros: This board got roughed up in reviews for having a quirky BIOS that's overclocker unfriendly as well as being outrageously expensive but it's a real gem and for $75 it's a bargain for anyone with a 775/DDR2 investment.

I primarily bought this mobo for the 3 PCIe x16 slots since I'm doing work with GPUs (CUDA/OpenCL) and plenty of slots is useful and saves me from having to buy a Core i7 mobo and DDR3 for minor performance gain.

Works great on Win7 Ultimate x64

S3 suspend and resume work perfectly.

High-end Realtek audio chip is supposedly awesome.
JMicron eSATA drivers are available direct from JMicron and up to date.

ICH10R is nice for RAID. Running double RAID-1 mirrors.

Runs cool. CPU/SYSTEM is 14C/28C in an NZXT Panzerbox (which makes anything run cool).

Double Firewire. Double eSATA. Lots of USB ports.

Onboard power/reset/cmos-clear switches.

Lots of bright colorful LEDs on the board. :)
121 Watts with two NVIDIA cards, 4 hard drives, 8GB of DDR2/

Cons: The several 3-pin fan headers don't seem to be capable of controlling fan speed or detecting RPM.

There are two PWM 4-pin headers though: one for the CPU and one for a system fan. I can only vouch for the CPU header.

BIOS is fine but I'm not an overclocker so I don't know what I'm missing.

Other Thoughts: Update to P03 BIOS ASAP.

I am using a ducted heatsink/fan and have the exhaust blowing across the large copper MOSFET heatsink on the edge of the board.

I "debadged" all the FOXCONN plates from the heatsinks -- they may look cool but they probably don't help cooling.

I have 2 PCIe cards in the board right now and will have 3 soon and maybe 4 (on a PCIe x1). The IDT PCIe switch appears to work fine. With two cards or more, the PCIe slots run at x8 which shouldn't be a big deal for most people. My quick unscientific test makes it appear that the switch is doing a good job splitting up large transfers across the PCIe bus. On a x16 bus I could read/write 5500 MB/sec to a single card and on the ELA it appears you can read/write 3200 MB/sec across two x8 slots at the same time.

Tips: go and get the latest FOXONE and Fox Live Update from whatever Socket 775 board is on the front page of FOXCONN's site. I'm running FOX ONE 1.1.9.1. Speedfan 4.40 wasn't producing accurate num

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality...Low Price

Pros: Amazing features for a motherboard under one hundred bucks. The LGA 775 Socket has never failed me, the three PCI Express slots for Crossfire is a nice feature (although I haven't used them yet), and the combination of RAID, four DDR2 slots, and 6 SATA ports makes it all the more worth buying. I have had this board for about half a year, and it hasn't crashed yet, and combining it with my Celeron Dual Core, I can encode run Windows 7 with no lag!

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: My Build

Motherboard: Foxconn ELA
RAM: 4.0GB Corsair XMS
HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500GB
Video Card: Geforce 8400GS (PCI...unfortunately)
CPU: Celeron Dual E1600
PSU: Dynex 400W
Case: Antec Three Hundred

5 out of 5 eggsNice motherboard

Pros: Great motherboard for the low low price. crossfirex support. Can't beat that. Not much to say. The BIOS isn't great, but it's no where near bad. Suits my needs and then some.

Cons: Nothing.
