2 in 1 out
- Pros: Great Mobo. had one work 3 months then burn out w/o any oc'ing. the other is still trucking with a phenom II x3.
- Cons: hard time getting in touch with foxconn support.
- Other Thoughts: new foxconn support number 1-909-978-6398. gl getting through
Foxconn Tech Support = Fail
- Pros: This motherboard worked great until windows 7. Now every few hours it hard resets.
- Cons: No possible way of getting support for this product, the online tech support for Foxconn is broken, the forums are useless.
- Other Thoughts: This product might work with some support, but since the website is broken, I can't get my computer to quit doing a hard-power-off every few hours.
I will NEVER buy another Foxconn product ever again.
Great HTPC board
- Pros: HDMI/DVI/VGA out, runs almost any AMD processor, lots of USB headers, IR header, CHEAP!
- Cons: first one DOA (the reason for 3 eggs instead of 5) but Newegg replaced right away. not much of a tweaker (I knew that already, doesn't matter on this machine), only one system fan header.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this to put an HTPC together for a 32" Viera LCD I bought before Christmas. works fantastic through the HDMI port, no problems at all with audio or video. now I can play any movie in any format through the pc, as well as internet streaming. the video handles .mkv files and mp4's without any frame dropping. don't know about blueray since I don't have a drive but I'm guessing it would do OK with that as well.
current setup is athlon x2 5600 (cheap dual core!), 2 GB ram, WinXP, 500 gb HD, DVD/CD drive, card reader, wireless card, some quiet fans, Apevia HTPC case and a 430 w p/s. run it from my bed with a Logitech DiNovo Mini - Perfect!
