5 out of 5 eggsGreat motherboard

Pros: *Not terribly expensive: $174.99
*Enough PCI slots and other things for all my components
*Still working well after almost 4 years

Cons: I couldn't really figure out the wires for the front USB ports the first time I put my desktop together. Later when I was cleaning dust and checking things I tried again and got it working.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent and scalable.

Pros: Easy set up.
Looks sweet.
Fast.
Scalable. Built this in fall 2009 and will about to upgrade with a new video card. I won't need nor want to upgrade this mobo for another 1-2 years.

Cons: Limited number of memory slots. I don't find this to be a major con but I had to put something here.

Other Thoughts: Great board. Might be the best one I have used relative to the time I used it. Major thumbs up.

1 out of 5 eggsget what you pay for

Pros: It can run but wont boot with GTX470. Used an older GTS 250 to boot her. ( with newest BIOS still wont boot with GTX470) Payed $140

Cons: Buying the board. Should have bought another for one of my client builds. I'll stick with ASUS, and EVGA for MB's. The features are not that great. I'm use to the features of the high end ASUS and EVGA's. This really wasn't even worth the money my client paid for it since it has given me nothing but problems. Talked to Foxconn they told me no BIOS fix for GTX 470 and that i will just have to use another card. So if you are thinking about buying this good luck if you use a GTX 470. It will Give you a 4E BIOS code and not boot. Oh yeah and the overclocking is horrible as well. Have to use way more Vcore on this MB than most others on same CPU test i7 920 that runs just fine on most at 1.36 Vcore 4.0 Ghz. This board upwards of 1.4 Vcore. So you will produce more heat with this MB also.

Other Thoughts: Wouldn't buy again. Foxconn support is horrible. Internet site is horrible and all the zipped drivers are not unpacking correctly. Funny i can unpack from other sites but not yours Foxconn. Never again will you get my or my clients business.
People save yourself the time, pay $50 more bones and get a real MB, dont make the same mistake i did.

4 out of 5 eggsMakes my i7 work.

Pros: Hooked everything up with this mobo and loaded bios for the first time and I just made it autodetect best settings and installed a new operating system with no probs. i7 cpu runs 60-72 degrees with four 80mm case fans.

Cons: Vid card was running at 83 degrees during a game with a 9800gtx+ so I started running a program to keep my gpu fan speed at 100% now it dose not get near 70 degrees during gameplay. Utility programs that came with the mobo were crashing and slugish with a new 64bit vista so I stopped using them.

Other Thoughts: For the price being able to run dd3 and i7 I cannot complain.

5 out of 5 eggsPleased

Pros: A great value for the price. Onboard features matched what I needed in my build. The install was breezy. Haven't felt the need to pop in the factory disk as Windows 7 picked up everything on board.

Cons: No cool Foxconn case sticker? No cons.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat board!

Pros: Budget i7 920 build, clocked to 4.0 on air easily, took about 20min. Great packaging, this is the first moBo I've bought in a few years so maybe I expect less than others but it seems high quality compared to what I'm used to.

Cons: I have an HD5870 video card and had issues with it(see 5870 reviews). After many different drivers, the crashing/freezing changed visually, but still eventually happened. I recently added a fan over the northbridge on the moBo and it is surprisingly stable. I'd advise adding a fan over the NB if you're gonna OC.

2 out of 5 eggsBuyer Beware

Pros: Price and easy to get started with motherboard

Cons: Warrenty Service, if it breaks you may be stuck with something that doesn't work. Went through Warrently with Foxconn that pushed board beyond Newegg RMA time. Trying to find RMA service on their web site is impossible and getting an answer from them equally impossible. Tried 3 different ways to get RMA for the motherboard and got 1 reply with pointed me to how to find the serieal number and pictures of what they wouldn't cover. But no way to get a RMA number from them or an address where to ship to.

Other Thoughts: Local shooter club says its too big and slow to give them a challenge. To many sharp edges to substitute for TP.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat board good price

Pros: great board loaded right up bios updated just fine bios easy to configure, runs fine with win 7 x64 fits my 5850 fire wire and sound card in pci slots, my ram is really close to my rev 120C tho the fan on the heatsink nearly touches the ram (ripjaw) running my i7920 at 4.0 with no problems

Cons: ram is really close to cpu heat sink

Other Thoughts: price dropped alot i bought open box for the same price its selling now about 1 month ago

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Cheap x58 board, Easy OC'ing (got my i7 920 to 4.0ghz with a zalman 9900 HSF) and it also has OC profiles. Very cool design and color scheme. Overall a very solid board and i have had no problems.

Cons: Only 3 slots for ram, no SLI Support, no RAID. I also had to manually set the timings and speed on my 1600 mhz RAM. With i7 hardware becoming more affordable, i suggest not getting the GTI version and paying the extra 20-30 for the normal Flamingblade.
