1 out of 5 eggsNo 65mm Support

Pros: DDR3 Ram

Cons: No support for 65mm processors so I cannot use my Core2Quad in this thing and thus no cpu...

Other Thoughts: I will get this replaced with one that will support my processor and ddr3 ram.. this is outrageous.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsLow wattage CPU's only!!

Pros: Can overclock DDR3 ram.

Cons: Only supports CPU's up to about 65 watt? Would have been nice to list that literally anywhere in the manual, or item review. Got the thing laced up and it refused to boot, reporting that my CPU was too high wattage. Derp.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valuable customer,

First of all, we do apologize for the inconvenience.Sincerely we recommend you try the CPU that is in the CPU support list. Please refer to CPU support list.

1 out of 5 eggsAgrivation!!!!!

Coming Soon!

Pros: I don't have any pros at this point, because I haven't been able to use the board at all.

Cons: Hey Newegg, it would have been nice for you to let us know that this board only supports processors under 65W. I have a Core2Quad that came out of another board that had some caps blow. So, I went online and found this Foxconn board. I looked carefully at the specifications to be sure it would work, and there were no indications that it wouldn't. So, after a good solid hour of putting this thing in the case, and zip tying all of the cables out of site, I turn it on and it tells me that it is only compatible with processors under 65W. I don't know who dropped the ball here, but in the past month I have spent well over 2K dollars with Newegg, maybe even 3K, I'm not too sure. But, I am considering taking my business elsewhere, because I depend on the descriptions to be correct, to know I am purchasing the right products.

5 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: Had it for for over two months with a Celeron, G.Skill memory and two PCIe tuner cards. I use it as a small TV server which is always turned on and no problems up until now. Used it stock, didn't overclock or anything fancy. This is my first FoxConn mobo and I was expecting subpar documentation, but it is good enough!

Cons: The performance software that comes with it (FoxONE) is the pinnacle of bad UI design.

Other Thoughts: Bought it because it was the cheapest but - oops! - didn't read the specs correcly and noticed too late that is has only two SATA ports with can be a serious limitation over time. My bad. There is another model which looks exactly the same with 4 SATA ports, I suggest you get this one.

Pros: None So Far.

1 out of 5 eggsSmall and cheap but not worth it!!

Pros: If you need a small board this one is very small.

Cons: This motherboard does not support the Core 2 quad as listed or any other processor that is over 65w. Very small and horrilbly laid out. The G41MXE-V is missing a bunch of, I guess you could say, unnessary ports but its a joke because the G41MXE has all the ports and is the same price. The missing ports include two SATAs which makes it very difficult to use if you have a big video card.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
We apologize for the experience you had with your Foxconn product. The motherboard does support Core™2 Quad, Core™2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core processors that is under 65W ,refer to the cpu support list ,
http://www.foxconnsupport.com/cpusupportlist.aspx?type=mb&model=G41MXE-V&cputype=
And please tell us the model of cpu you use in the motherboard and we will test it again .Thank you for your help .
It is different in total price between G41MXE-V and G41MXE.Refer to the below
