Foxconn A78AX 3.0 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: I cannot think of any..it looks pretty...

Cons: Blue screen of death over and over again...ACPI compatibility issues. could not recover from. I returned.

Pros: Built this PC for a friend on a budget. The board was easy to install and booted up with no issues. What more can you ask for the price?

Cons: No issues, so that makes my life easier.

Pros: -BIOS is clean and UI-friendly

-I have had no current issues getting my hard drives working, as that tends to plague me with all the motherboards I purchase.

-Extremely easy to set my USB as the boot device for my mobo, making it VERY easy to load up windows 7.

Cons: -Slight issue getting my USB with linux loaded on it to register in the BIOS, but after a while I got it working

-Kind of wished it had more 3-pin and 4-pin power connecters for external fans, but I personally don't have a problem with it since my case only supports one other fan.

-This one probably is more of an issue regarding my CPU, but when I started installing my AMD Phenom II X4 955 fan, the brackets on the stage for the CPU fan seemed too far apart, so it took me a bit of time to get the fan on.

Pros: none, didnt get far enough to say. the cons stopped me. customer service wasnt that bad tho to be honest, no wait times.

Cons: the motherboard blue screened on my when installing windows. first i was told to try updating the bios, so i did. still blue screen, then calling foxconn again, they told me that it only supports 4GB of ram per slot, i had 8. so this is my 2nd Foxconn board i will be sending back in the last 2 weeks. never buy foxconn, newegg really needs to drop their products from this site. i should have known based on every other review of foxconn.

Other Thoughts: you get what you pay for.
