5 out of 5 eggsBought three, all three work flawlessly

Pros: Cheap
Reliable
No compatibility issues on my end
Nice color combo

Cons: No real overclocking to be done
Doesn't do my laundry.

Other Thoughts: I have three of these boards in three systems that are used daily. I have never had any problems with the board itself. We have three different processors (x3 720, x4 925, x4 975), 3 different sets of ram (Corsair, gSkill, OCZ), and this board has been perfect.

2 out of 5 eggsBAD

Pros: it has 4 ram slots for ddr3, has great CPU support and is fairly well built for a low end stand point. supports 64 bit architecture, and form an OS from Linux to windows 7-xp-vista-8.1.

Cons: everything else, bad c mos (has a tendency to freeze, its clear c mos jumper doesn't work, the mobo fails within a year of "gamer" use, is very low quality solid capacitors, low quality north bridge chip, barley no south bridge!) failed on me when i was installing windows xp, problems when it will fail (no post, no error code beeps, no boot beep, no on board VGA.)
so for a beginner with no interest for gaming this is good for that but it will not accept more that 16 GB of RAM. BAD C MOS BATTERY RUNS OUT IN A MONTH OR SO!!!

Other Thoughts: 4/10 rating BAD BAD BAD for office use only!

5 out of 5 eggsJust What I Wanted

Pros: I was upgrading my old(er) computer, and my previous system had a Foxconn MB with an Intel Pentium 4 (2.8) CPU. This had been working fine for about 6 years, but I needed something faster. I wanted to use some existing hardware (such as an IDE drive with Ubuntu Linux installed), so I searched for a motherboard that would have both SATA and IDE options. Not a lot to choose from, but this was just what I wanted. I paired it with an AMD Phenom II Callisto 3.1 dual-core CPU, added 8 GB Crucial memory, and used my existing WD HDD (SATA) with Win7. I'm not a 'gamer' so I don't know how this MB would do if I were one, but for my needs (surfing, finances, photo editing, and music downloads and playback), it's MUCH better than what I had.

Foxconn has some software with the MB called "Fox One," a "powerful utility for easily modifying system settings," as well as monitoring temperature, fan speed, and other data. While I have no intention (or need) to do so, Fox One can be used to overclock. Lastly, I've used Foxconn (online) Tech Support a couple of times to request and verify information, and they've been very quick to respond, a plus in my opinion.

Cons: No cons that I've uncovered, and based upon the numerous years with my previous Foxconn MB, I don't expect any.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: No idea.

Cons: Three straight DOA's. All it would do was click. Buy at your own risk.

Other Thoughts: Newegg was great. Will order a different brand.

4 out of 5 eggsReview

Pros: Cheap,Somewhat OC Capable Board...

Honestly this board is pretty decent for a low cost mobo, it has a core unlocker, overclocking capabilities, power management, safe temps, bios protection, etc..

Cons: A HUGE con with this board is the fact you cannot change any voltages EXCEPT the DRAM, which somewhat makes unlocking cores difficult trying to get them stable...

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy this board again, but it's not bad if you intend not to do any extreme OC'ing or core unlocking..

1 out of 5 eggsBSOD

Pros: Inexpensive Board, good brand, 4 RAM slots.

Cons: Blue Screen of Death while trying to install windows on 2 occasions. On 3rd attempt, BIOS did not post and nothing booted at all. I tried to reset the CMOS, and that didn't work either.

Other Thoughts: I know this happens sometime with motherboards. RMA'ing and hoping the replacement doesn't have the same issue.

Manufacturer Response:

We are so sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with this board. We have seen the BSOD (BIOS is not ACPI Compliance) during Windows installation with this board when using with 16GB RAM. However, we do have a BIOS fix for this issue. If you still have this board, please setup the board outside the case with a minimal configuration. Don't install multiple RAM sticks.

If you were able to get it to post again while it is outside the case with just a single RAM stick then you can update it to the new BIOS. If you need the BIOS fix, please submit your email to the link below.

5 out of 5 eggsworks awesome

Pros: This thing worked amazingly I hooked it all up and it worked first try. Plus it has this super easy option to unlock extra cores in your processor literally just press one button and it's done.

Cons: none that I can think of

Other Thoughts: an amazing board for the price
