Pros: Good entry level board

Cons: Read reviews about Sandy bridge troubles and called for replacement bios chip (pre-purchase they were very accommodating) but I asked if it were capable of dual monitors and told yes, yet this feature seems to be unavailable. I purchased a Rosewill RA-VGA-DVI-D 25pin (24+1) DVI-D Male to 15pin VGA Female Adapter to facilitate dual monitor and the DVI port will not work with this adapter and now I have to purchase another video card to run 2 monitors.

Other Thoughts: If this adapter is not compatible they should supply one with the board or at least suggest compatible adapters

We apologize for any inconvenience. Looking at the feedback on RA-VGA-DVI-D adapter seems to indicate that this adapter does not do the conversion from digital to analog. That's why it does not work. Please contact Rosvill to see if they have any other adapter that will convert from digital to vga.

This motherboard does support dual display.

Pros: Cheap, Virtualization

Cons: I went with cheaper G.Skill Ram (Rip Jaws). I bought a 8GB kit (2x4GB) and the board only recognizes half of the DIMM's capacity. That is with any RAM.

Manufacturer Response:

Max is 8GB. Please verify for any bent pins on the CPU socket on the motherboard. This will cause certain DIMM slots to fail.

Pros: Energy Efficient, Cheap, Legacy ports.

Cons: Does not work with Windows 2003.

Other Thoughts: I have a bunch of these running for a year so far and they've never given me any trouble.

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: DOA.

Pros: None

Cons: Received first board doa. RMA with Newegg rapid and effortless. Second board arrived doa. Replaced second with Gigabyte that has worked flawlessly.

Other Thoughts: Newegg RMA and refund worked flawlessly.

Pros: DVI port, H61 chipset (rather the BIOS) does support ACHI, despite popular belief, inexpensive, works as expected

Cons: No option to turn off boot confirmation beep (yes I've tried "Silent Boot" in the BIOS), CPU latch mechanism was not so easy to work with, only two memory slots

Other Thoughts: Great basic motherboard for a build $500 and under. Foxconn is used by major OEMs (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, Acer, etc), so if the brand is trusted by OEMs, it's a good conjecture that this will be a reliable board for your build (YMMV).
