Foxconn Rattler LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Looks good and has all the features an average gamer would need.

Cons: I get 4 beeps, and a LED code of 55 with no Video. I scoured the internet and found no info about 55 or 4 beeps for this board.
Tried different RAM, Video Card, and PS.
I needed this for a last minute gift.

The current BIOS revision on this board is for Sandy Bridge processor only. If you are using an Ivy Bridge processor, it won't post.

However, we don't have an Ivy Bridge BIOS for this board right now.

Pros: Looks awesome...

Cons: Doesn't not support the Ivy Bridge technoligy due to old bios chip... Had to contact Foxconn to figure out what was wrong... No documentation in specs that it only supports the Sandy bridge Intel cpu... Was informed by Foxconn that it will be atleast 2 months before they will be able to send out an updated bios chip to support the Ivy Bridge technoligy... wasted time and money having to uninstall and send back to newegg for refund... Word of advise before buying call Foxconn and make sure they have finally gotten their bios updated or u will fall prey to the same headache that others have done....

Pros: IDE connection for older drives. Sweet sports car on the box! Nightrider type red LED's on the back of the board. Easy OC. ESATA, USB 3.0, lots of USB 2.0 ports. Pretty flexible (i3, i5, i7) so it should take me through a couple of CPU upgrades. Great board for the price

Cons: Not a con of the board, but Newegg site says it takes 32gb RAM, actually it only takes 16gb. Lack of info on the board LED codes.

Pros: I comes with plenty of sata, esata, usb and usb 3.0 ports thats are about the only real extras the other connections are what I consider standard 5 fan ports extra usb connectors and the like.

Cons: The reason I picked this board was because it was the best price that had 6 internal sata and 2 external esata, Unfortunately the esata does not seem to work either the ports are bad or the marvell booter does't work well. It took several hours to finally get the marvell booter to recognize the drives but still couldn't get windows to find the drive even after downloading the marvell drivers for windows. Which I had to do from a different site as the foxconn site is forever telling me the driver download is page is down. The only saving grace is the 2 USB 3.0 ports that I am using now instead of the esata

Other Thoughts: Overall not a bad board I think shipping may have had something to do with the ports being bad as the box was crushed a bit when I got it. New egg should invest in a better packing material then just brown paper.

Pros: Has 3 onboard system fan controllers which enables control of the 3 fans that are standard on my case, Fractal Design Core3000. Has onboard Error code LEDs, which came in handy when I first started up the system as it booted once but wouldn't post subsequently so it was easy to fix the problem.

Cons: SATA Ports are at front of the board pointing towards the front of the case making them difficult to access. They include 90 degree cables but the 90 degree will point the cable right at the near side of the case instead of away from it. Fortunately my case had a removable hard drive bay so I was able to comfortably access the ports.

The board only has 6 expansion slots using the lower 6 on standard ATX case, presumably because they include a slot mounted usb and IEEE1394 bracket. However, if you have anything in the first PCI express slot the cables for these extra ports won't reach to the onboard connector.

Pros: OC, Reset, and Power Bottons onboard. 2 LED number screen for debug. Nightryder LED behind board.

Cons: Supports Crossfire but not SLi
