4 out of 5 eggsAll-Around Good

Pros: Works very well and is reasonably priced.

Cons: One of the things that bothered me was the location of the SATA ports. If you have a giant graphics card the SATA ports are unreachable. It becomes a pain to take out the card every time you need to plug or unplug a SATA cable.

Other Thoughts: I like the 3-pin fan connectors but I wish there were more.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Looks cool.
Hook it up, it worked.
Easy to understand diagram sheet.
2 sata cables.
HDMI
Easy BIOS flash

Cons: None. Exactly what you will expect if you read all specs.

Other Thoughts: when you get this board, update the BIOS first. If it doesnt function properly call support, if it still dont work send it back. Mine works perfectly, all audio ports, HDMI, sata everydreasy1thing.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for intended use

Pros: Good layout. Onboard graphics excellent for my purposes. Easy to understand BIOS options with lots of options. Plenty of USB headers.

Cons: Only "Quickstart" printed documentation. Complete manual is on driver CD. You have to have a second computer to view BIOS setup prior to installing OS/PDF reader. Only 2 on board fan headers. Only one SATA device cable.

Other Thoughts: I bought this board to build a computer for a relative who doesn't play graphic intense games. It is combined with an Athlon X2 5200, a single hard drive, one optical drive, 2 gigs of memory, and a 550W power supply. It's assembled in a Cooler Master Elite 335 case.

Assembly was very easy- lots of room on the board, even with the onboard graphics. Booted first try and performed flawlessly during installation of OS and additional software. I've seen complaints about the way the SATA connections are laid out, but I didn't have any trouble- I took the covers off both sides of the case and connected the SATA cables from the motherboard tray side.

This is my first EVGA board, and so far it is impressive. The goal was to build a reliable computer (hardware only) for less than $500. This came in under $400 excluding shipping (to Alaska).

great integrated graphics

power buttons on board are nice

temp Gage inside with codes to tell you what's wrong CO is memory if anyone is wondering just keep swapping memory one by one tell you get video :D

Cons: Ethernet port doesn't work (kinda my fault but its dumb how they put that metal piece in there)

Other Thoughts: DO NOT LEAVE METAL PIECE IN ETHERNET PORT AND TURN ON COMPUTER IT WILL FRY YOUR ETHERNET PORT!!

1 out of 5 eggsBEWARE OF EVGA/ NEW EGG REBATE....

Pros: Is a great product. Bought a 680i sli n force board before these and it runs great. Thought it was also a great $ 30.00 rebate deal at the time.. BUT..NEVER AGAIN......

Cons: This model didnt have the great mother board performance software for the cpu like the 680i did . but is a stable board for the price.
Parago/evga rebate is a scam!!!!!!!!!!! beware

Other Thoughts: Note:: limit of the purchase was 2 motherboards. as per new egg. I sent in the rebate sheets to the "t" as per evga/ new egg guidelines, and On the forms that new egg provided per download.
Got a responce back from the rebate tracking center that the rebate is now invalid, and it exceded the product limit...WOW! WHAT A REBATE SCAM. Beware of the rebates through New Egg....
2 boards $30 rebate each= $60.00 NOT!!!!!! youll never see it!!!!!!!

I probably will not buy another product from evga or new egg. Customer shouldnt be conned like this . No one wanted to help with this issue..

Manufacturer Response:

Hi,

Please contact us at rebates@evga.com so we can correct this.

Thanks,
Jacob

4 out of 5 eggsEasy to setup

Pros: Very easy to setup. When my old (2 years) motherbard's SATA connectors died I decided I was going to replace it myself rather than giving money to someone to do it. I never installed a motherboard before (although I'm pretty knowledgeable on the software side and always install all other internal components myself) so I was very surprised of I easy this was. It took me about one hour to have the computer up and running.

Cons: Doesn't have Firewire (-1 egg).
No manual in the box and only large sheet to explain basic setup. It's missing a description of all the connectors.

Other Thoughts: Very easy to POST. Has 3 blue leds and on-board on button next to the CMOS reset button.

My old MoBo had a 8 pin CPU power connector and this one has a 4 pin so it was a bit confusing at first but overcame that even without instructions.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: BIOS set up is very user friendly with more options than ASUS could dream of. Great board wire lay out for making a nice clean case so air flow can be optimized. The easy CMOS clearing function is probably the best feature I have seen in ages on any board. Hands down it trumps ASUS's non sli boards.

Cons: Only con I can think of is that the board has very tight tollerances on power, if your PS is not an ANTEC or Corsair you may have fits due to most other PS's have to much of a voltage variance

Other Thoughts: They just need to make a 6 bay DDR3 AMD board and show the rest how its done.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: What a great, relatively cheap motherboard! This thing has a great BIOS, capable onboard video and plenty of expansion slots for a low price. I've had zero problems with it and would definitely recommend this to anyone who's not looking for Dual or Tri-SLI.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Onboard video is enough to run Far Cry 2 on (mostly) medium settings without screen jitter, but it's always nice to have the PCI-e 2.0 slot there for an upgrade if desired. I'm not much of a gamer, but a big multi-tasker and this board doesn't disappoint.

2 out of 5 eggsOk

Pros: It has a Nvidia 8200 built on board. The layout is good. I like the Digital BIOS error codes display. Pretty blue lights! NewEgg rocks! Got a good one the second time.

Cons: My first board was DOA with error code 25 (-1 Egg). Error means BIOS Video. So i decided to try a video card. Put in a perfectly good Nvidia 256 MB DDR 7600GS graphics card and the card caught FIRE!! (-2 Eggs) So now I have a paper wait and a bad motherboard. I RMAed the board, and had to toss the card.

Other Thoughts: This was my first EVGA board. I have used 4 other brands with no problems. I am mixed about whether I will give them another chance. I love EVGA video cards though! Board was used to replace a computer Mobo that was fried by a power supply. The power supply also killed both my hard drives and both my DVD burners. It spared my RAM and my AMD 6000+ Dual Core, thank goodness.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: On board graphics capable of running low-end to average games. EXCELLENT TECH SUPPORT. We had trouble installing the MB, called their tech support and they ACTUALLY SPEAK ENGLISH! No more redirect to Turkmenistan or whatever. It works flawlessly.

Cons: Expected more out of the onboard graphics, it wasnt capable of playing crysis (Though I saw it coming). However it could easily hold you over until you have the money for a decent card.

Other Thoughts: Great support, Great card excellent price. The first I bought was for a friends build, now im buying one for my own. EVGA makes goo stuff.
