4 out of 5 eggsOverall good but I wish I'd gotten a P55

Pros: Good looking, lots of SATA connections, passive chipset heatsinks

Cons: RAID only works on the two red SATA connectors - this was not explained anywhere in the documentation I received. The proximity of the cpu to the x16 PCIe slot can pose problems with a big cpu cooler if you decide to add a graphics card. The integrated HD video in my i5 660 is not as smooth as I thought it would be. Should have gone with discrete video. Not as well supported as the P55.

Other Thoughts: This system was built as an HTPC and I've been happy with it overall, but after having it for six months I wish I'd spent the extra $100 and gone with discrete video. I thought the new gen of intel processors would be up to the task of HD video, but on the really information intensive stuff (e.g. BBC Planet Earth) it chokes.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy Installation

Cons: PC Reboots on cold start
No current updated BIOS Patch from EVGA
Took me awhile to find out that the on-board video option is only available to a small selection of processors
PCI-E slots are too far apart to connect a standard SLI Bridge

Other Thoughts: After installing 2 Geforce 465s I appreciate the extra SATA connectors sticking off the back of the board the way they are because they would get in the way of the card.

You really need to know if your CPU you are installing has the on-board VGA support or your system will malfunction

Until EVGA releases an updated BIOS the system will double reboot on a cold start. But after that the machine works perfectly. The real concern I have is that its random when the reboot occurs and damaged data is a real issue especially if you boot up and windows updates a critical issue and poof reboot.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Low cost
Easy installation
Very easy BIOS setup

Cons: The onboard Video adapter doesn't seem to work on my mobo. Anytime I try and install driver or in my last instance Critical Windows Update drivers installed it bricked my system. I had to totally disable the onboard in BIOS to make the system work.

Other Thoughts: Outside of the onboard GPU issue I really like this board. The extra SATA connectors on the side of the board are annoying but if you have a big case with room they are not that hard to get to.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome motherboard

Pros: Great ports. Lots of SATA. Beautiful, sexy color/sinks/design. Great instructions. Everything inserts great and stays firm.

Cons: Unusual placement of CPU/fan. Only 1 PS/2 port. No HDMI port.

Other Thoughts: When I installed my processor, there was this strange grating sound. I have never installed a processor before, and it is working fine so far.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother excellent product..

Pros: EVGA products are great... I've owned several other brand mobos in recent years, cheap boards are not worth it. The packaging alone shows the care put into this final product. Customer service at EVGA always seems to care... Step-up program is always a nice option. This board is designed for the new i3, i5, and i7 chips that contain video, but even so the all around features of this product are great, some of the best. Instead of a multi-colored plastic pyschodelic mobo, this comes in one fine colour with the exception of the color coded Ram slots... grey vs. black

Cons: Did not see or find a combo deal on these particular CPUs and Boards, would have been a nice touch.

Other Thoughts: My main light went out on my work area... trying to plug in cables on the beatiful black connections in a black case was trying.. lol worth it!

5 out of 5 eggssweet looking and very easy

Pros: Very nice looking, all black and stuff...makes me happy :). Mounted very easily in my mid tower case, everything clicks in very easily and is lined up properly with my case.

Cons: The only down side I found (and this could just be me) is that the CPU cooler was very difficult to install because the holes seemed to be off by a centimeter or so. Not really a huge deal since I got it in, but just a thought.

Other Thoughts: I had to call EVGA twice for questions that weren't necessarily their problems but they helped me 100% and were very nice about it, so +1 for EVGA as a company.
