EVGA P67 SLI 130-SB-E675-KR LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Needed to replace my dying Win XP rig for some legacy apps - found this on sale for $100 w/rebate of $50 - for that price I went for it - great deal for a board that 1 year ago was leading edge. Initial setup was with $50 Sandy Bridge Celeron and 4 GB mem. Using Corsair XMS3 as listed on EVGA site - ran OK with Celeron as just a XP rig to keep some legacy apps and games going. But I got a great deal on an EVGA GTX550Ti video board for $60. Changed to 8 GB Kingston Hyper X on sale for $35 then decided to up it to a i5 proc 2500K on-sale so my son can play some of the newer games and not use my new Ivy Bridge rig. For about $325 using my original XP case, PS, drives, monitor, etc I now have a PC that can run most apps & newer games at high res and network for my son.

Cons: As others have reported - Voltage regs and components around the power connector run VERY hot - so hot they burned my finger! 95 - 110 F component external measured! Poor design! I build on a test stand and test everything B4 putting in case to check for problems and hot spots so I know how to cool case. I will add an extra fan to blow cool air to this area of MB and maybe drill some extra holes in MB tray right under power connector - maybe an extra fan on that side. So much for $50 deal!

Other Thoughts: There's a reason you see them on sale so low - they're dumping these for $50 - end of life and bad board design - hot voltage regs - see other reviews with voltage reg issues here and other sites. I figured if I can get 2-3 years out of it for XP it was worth it. I normally use ASUS, Gigabyte or Intel MBs. Will report back in 6 mos or so. I also had the problem with the fancy logo LED in the center of the board not working – had to swap the wires as there is no polarity markings – makes you wonder how a production worker would have a chance of getting it right. Works fine now. No more EVGA MBs for me!

Pros: I own two of these boards, I bought one over a year ago and have been using it 24/7 since without any problems. Recently bought another when it was on sale for another computer, no problems with that board either so far.

The board has a good array of power user features for high end systems and enthusiasts. It is not the most feature rich board out there, but it doesn't feel overly cluttered with bells whistles and gimmicks either which I appreciate a lot.

It does have a little bling with the glowing center E symbol which is a nice touch if your case has a window.

As a side note both of my boards had the jumper flipped on the E symbol from the factory. I had to unplug it and reverse it to get it to light up. Not sure if this is by design or a careless mistake in production.

This is a solid high end performance board for high end (but not extreme) gaming rigs with a good enthusiast based feature set. It has given me no problems in the last 1+ years I have owned it. Bought a 2nd one to use because I liked the first so much :)

Cons: The two PCI-E slots for SLI are directly next to each other. This is fine if you have turbine based cards or water cooling. If you have lower model cards with large side mounted fans, the top cards fan would get little to no airflow due to being so close to the lower card. Not a huge issue for me but consider the cards you use before buying if you want to run SLI on this board.

The on board audio is a little weak strength wise (output signal is low and requires more amplification) and quite a bit of noise in the line when nothing is playing. Anyone serious about audio will probably be using a separate sound card anyways though so not a huge con.

No S/PDIF out for sending digital audio to a receiver or other device. Knew that buying this board but it would still be a nice feature to have for a performance gaming board.

Other Thoughts: Yes, this board only supports sandy bridge processors.

The motherboard manufacturers will always post a cpu / ram compatibility list. One should always do their research and ensure the cpu/ram they are buying will work properly with their board.

Do NOT rely on the specs listed from a the place you are buying it, mistakes can and do happen in listings. Go with the official specs direct from the manufacturer to ensure everything will work properly :)

Pros: I can't think of anything positive to say, at all, beyond that Newegg's store page is now a bit more up to date on this scam.

Cons: Sandy Bridge compatible only, not fully USB 3.0 compatible (it has two onboard USB 3.0 slots, that's all you're getting), appears from my experience and from several other users who have posted reviews to not actually support DDR3 2133 RAM, the list goes on.

Other Thoughts: Avoid EVGA's motherboards. They do good video cards, but it's quite obvious they're running a scam here with their motherboards.

Pros: Bought on a huge sale. The buy was really worth it. Easy installation and comes with bonus SATA cables, USB ports, and even a Firewire port. Lots of room for expansion available.

Cons: Drivers can be a pain to install; there are some issues with pre-installed drivers in Windows 7, but these can be fixed pretty easily.

Other Thoughts: Has an included flashing EVGA symbol on the board. Very nice if considering using the board in a case with a side window.

Pros: Exactly what I expected from EVGA, once the BIOS was updated. See Comments below

Cons: BIOS that the board shipped with HATED my RAM.

Other Thoughts: On the verge of shipping the board back for an exchange, I decided to update the BIOS, something I usually do first when installing a new motherboard. All of my memory compatibility issues including spontaneous blue screens and reboots went away. Now the board is solid, and everything one expects of an EVGA product. This will teach me not to review their website for notes on BIOS updates first, before proceeding with other troubleshooting

Pros: Great board. OC very easy with i5 2500k to 4.5ghz with older H50 liquid system.

Cons: Nothing about product. Complain to EVGA about update issues... Newegg has no power over that. This is a business... Not a charity. They make their money how they choose. You bought this product with no promise of an update. Give him an inch and they want a mile.

Other Thoughts: Didn't buy it on Newegg but that doesn't change the fact that the product has works well for me.

Pros: All works as intended will drive and support your MSOS, *nix or *BSD to the max :)

Pros: Liked the board at first. Was an upgrade from an x58 chipset board also from evga,everything was a go out of the box

Cons: Noted the logo led on the board didn't work, but decided to tolerate it. Shortly after, the machine started random crashing. I tried new ram, and new hdd but to no avail. I've effectively replaced the entire system, and still crashes.

Other Thoughts: This is the first and hopefully only time I ever have to return an evga product. Hopefully newegg gets a replacement out fast, wish they could cross ship the replacement though.

Pros: great motherboard. lots of options and expansion support. very quick and easy to install and setup.

Cons: had the board for about 8 months now and today the voltage regulators sparked like crazy under the heatsink and smoke began coming out the case. i am severly disappointed in the product and trying to work with evga to fix it. well ventilated and clean case, good high quality components in the system...just not the mobo

Other Thoughts: i love evga and have been a big proponent of them for many years, this is tthe first time i had one of their products do any amount of damage, but now i have to wonder with all the other reports.
